Ok experience, we were one of only three tables in the restaurant but took over 45 mins for food to be served. When it’s arrived it was average. High prices for the overall experience.

Restaurant was lovely but not impressed with an “optional” service charge being put on with the customer having to request it taken off otherwise automatically charged.... I understand it’s something that’s added to large parties but not couple! I can imagine people will just pay as they will be embarrassed to say no!

Lovely friendly staff including door staff, waitresses and waiters. Gorgeous steaks and good cocktails. A tad expensive ( on a par with Miller &Carter) but worth it on a special occasion.

Food was massively overpriced for the quality. I asked for more sauce for my very dry braised steak and I got what tasted like bisto! My husband had wagu, was ok but quite disappointed with the size and quality of it. Have had much better steak and side dishes at other steak restaurants in Newcastle, do not think we will be returning.

Lovely restaurant and bar, service was good We had the steak and the lobster Steak was amazing loads of choices if you like your meat would definitely recommend the porterhouse cooked rare delicious and the sides were great Lobster was tasty but on the small side, maybe I’m just greedy! Would go for the steak only When I visit next time

Over priced when you pay that much for steak, sauces should be part of the price as they are at Miller and Carter. Paid £100 but came out not feeling satisfied. Sides tasty but small. Large plate with not much to place on it. The setting was nice but not very warm, why have air con and drafty windows when it's freezing outside. I like to eat my food in the comfort of a nice warm restaurant. On the plus side cocktails very nice.

Staff & service was excellent. Food wasn’t very good: The beef was fatty & the sides just seemed reheated. Overpriced for the quality of the food.

Service was excellent, staff very attentive, first round of drinks came garnished looked lovely and what you would expect at 6.50 a drink, second round of drinks didn't, starters were nice, mains were good except steak wasn't cooked how ordered ordered medium rare, came well done, no pink at all, desserts were nothing special, everything else was good.

Lovely starters (belly pork and chicken satay). Porterhouse steak was big & nice but charred on the edges. Wife's sweet potato fries were very salty. Had to get them replaced and they agreed they were too salty. Overall, very expensive. Good service. Wine nice.
