Love this place ! Hands down the nicest food everytime

Friendly service. Food was good. Food items missed off some of the dishes.

A very nice restaurant with friendly staff and superb food, yes the Wagyu steak i had is expensive but wow! My wife had the sunday lunch which was also excellent and well priced for the quality. Two clean plates said it all. My only very small mark down was because I like a village pub feel, especially considering the previous history of the pub. Personally it would have been nicer if it part of it had somewhere you could sit and have a drink as well. However that is a personal thing and does not detract from the excellent quality of the food. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing food! Completely over indulged over 3 courses and sides but everything was delicious. Service could’ve been improved (and wait time to even get a drink) but nothing worth complaining about or that ruined our evening! Food was perfect, so that says enough to me. As ever, we will be back.

My daughter gave me a gift voucher for Christmas which my husband and I used tonight. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend to others. Had Sunday lunch here with the family last weekend ( 17th February ) which was also excellent

Outstanding evening. Had the porterhouse steak and would highly recommend. Staff extremely nice and not pushy at all. We stayed over so took our time and were not rushed at all. Amazing atmosphere and lively, yet still able to hear ourselves speak. Will definitely come back.

We were shown to a table in the middle of the floor which I was a bit disappointed with,but hey ho. There were plenty of more intimate tables available and perhaps I should have asked to have one. As another couple came in and refused a similar table and were immediately shown to another more appropriate one for Valentine’s Day. Anyway Catharana was our server and she was lovely and very helpful. We had the King Prawn Pil Pil, but was surprised to find that they weren’t king prawns but small prawns, however, it was delicious, perhaps another slice of sourdough to mop up the juices would have been most welcome. Just one slice was given. The tomahawk steak to share was next and it was gorgeous cooked to perfection

The main problem is the fact the car park is not big enough. This was my second visit, and on both occasions I have had to park in the nearby village of Potto. I get the impression that the car park is maybe full with staff cars. Okay if its not raining!!!! The other problem I encountered was they add 10% on to your billl as a service charge. If I feel the need to tip the staff, I will do so with cash.

The food and the service was cooked and performed to perfection!

Atmosphere was only lacking due to our early reservation, I’m sure it would improve closer to peak times.

Wonderful meal, steak was a little undercooked for my liking and they cooked it more and gave me fresh chips and sides which was amazing. Great service and will be back

Restaurant week menu was absolutely lovely, couldn’t fault it one bit!
