Lovely staff - big tick. Nice to find somewhere open on a Monday. Good amount of room between tables - might not be important to some but it’s not very relaxing to be jammed in close to other people. Plentiful olives for a nibble, too many in the halloumi salad. Not much veggie option but the rest of the menu looked ok. Cocktails fun. Toilets very clean and not cramped (adds to the feeling of a nice night out - nothing worse than less than lovely toilets. Music quite loud but it is a ‘fun’ venue with footie on screen and a quiz and we found a quieter corner. After a cocktail the noise seems to fade :) Had a leisurely catch up and two hours sped by. Enjoyable. Prices as expected given the current economic crisis and on par with other local places - with online menu it’s easy enough to ‘budget’ before you get inside so no quibble with that.

Staff are lovely, fast service and amazing food. Will be recommending.

Friendly staff, nice ambience, reasonable price and big portions. Best gravy ever. But....ladies toilet needs work, potato wedges were over cooked. Overall...good and we'll come back.

The music was way too loud to hold a conversation between four of us on a table which was a shame as we left early due to this. The food was fantastic and so much of it that I had some for lunch the following day! The waitress was super thoughtful and kind. However, my booking was made and emailed to me but when we arrived they told me I was half an hour early and they didn’t have a table for me… I wasn’t and I had proof on my email but they still didn’t have a free table. Thankfully, a kind group of 4 had just left and beckoned us over to use their table.

Booked last minute as it was a rainy Sunday. Cheeeful, warm greeting on arrival. Quick service and a perfect Sunday roast topped with a giant Yorkshire. Beef slow cooked to perfection, a great gravy and nice selection of veg. High quality at a good price.

Initial service was good then we waited and had to go to bar to get a drink - after that service was fine - Sunday lunch was fine but extra "pigs in blankets" weren't all cooked through - not a big issue but next time i'll send them back or ask for a refund.. - All round it was ok !!

Firstly can I say the place is lovely and the staff are so friendly and obliging. We had Sunday dinner. The beef and Yorkshire puddings were amazing. We ordered extras of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. Unfortunately the pigs in blankets were barely cooked. However the cauliflower cheese was delicious. The dinner came with the smallest amount of gravy and although we requested more we had almost finished the dinner before it arrived (after we asked again) The whole dinner was only luke warm which was a shame. We heard the next table saying the same. It was very busy so this may have caused some of the problems. We would definitely go back again and maybe try something else from the varied menu.

The restaurant was very busy so was a bit noisy for us. A really good menu with lots of choice to suit even our fussy eater. Only 2 options of no alcohol lager which was disappointing We will definitely be coming back

Great staff, great atmosphere, staff couldn’t do enough for us. Food was great, only one downside was no Guinness!! This turned out to be ok as I gave the Jute blonde beer a go and it was very nice.

We went on a cold Tuesday night as the family are emigrating so we chose this place to meet everybody’s needs! The children loved their pasta and pizza! The Nutella doughnuts were more like churros but acceptable! The adults enjoyed their pizzas but one got pizza when they ordered a burger !! Fries were ok burger was adequate, tasteless but good portion! Staff were professional and attentive It was very cold though and we had to keep coats on 🥶 Good value for money as January offer and we were not aware of this until we sat down ! The kids loved the swing

Great atmosphere on Xmas eve. Lovely time with friends and kids.

Food and drinks great service super fast and staff very attentive. My only comment was that we were continually asked if we wanted more drinks / anything else to eat / is everything ok. Whilst this isn’t necessarily a negative it was quite intense.
