Stitching up Liverpool with two venues for polished New York-style bar and pizzeria vibes, Tribeca’s Smithdown Road outlet is destined to become legendary among the many dining and drinking options in the Mossley Hill and Wavertree area. Craft beer goes global here, while a massive range of classic American-style pizza keeps hunger at bay. Added refinement arrives here courtesy of Tribeca’s take on classic cocktails and more than a few contemporary creations of its own. As if all this wasn’t enough in terms of entertainment, Tribeca screens Premier League football every week, hosts DJs, and run cocktail and pizza-making masterclasses plus rum tastings!
Both Tribeca’s stylish venues, here along Smithdown Road near Penny Lane and over on Berry Street, are ideal for hosting a celebration, and the deal is only sweetened by the fact that there’s no charge for private hire. All the elements are in place – good looks, great food, fantastic drinks, and sweet music. But any visit to this slick Mossley Hill pizzeria and bar will give you that New York state of mind as you settle into the plush leather banquette booths and browse the impressive menus. Knock back some pistachios and olives with a craft ale from Hawaii’s Kona brewery and try choosing a pizza. Good luck.
There are about three dozen options when it comes to Tribeca’s American-scale pizza menu. If you’re looking to start the day with a bang down here in this corner of Wavertree and Mossley Hill, go for the Spanish Breakfast pizza, with Iberico chorizo, eggs and spicy paprika. The New York Deli is a classic pie of smoked mozzarella, gruyere, pastrami, pickled gherkins, horseradish and sauerkraut, but if you want this Liverpool palace to the pizza to send a little pleasant surprise your way, order the Tribeca Classico and let the whim in the kitchen take over with the chef’s personal favourite toppings of the day. And remember, even though Tribeca has two outposts in the city, these are popular joints for which an early reservation is strongly recommended.
Lovely service and food! There is a lot choice of food (well of pizzas) which was a bonus. There is also a selection of drinks which could be chosen which is a mega bonus.
Great food. Large sides. Fantastic service. Brilliant overall experience. We will definitely be coming back again soon. There were some gorgeous looking cocktails around though we didn’t have any this time.
Great family location. Great atmosphere and service. Would recommend to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy a well presented restaurant. Food is hot with minimal waiting time
First time I ordered a meat calzone! Yum yum, delicious! The pizzas were perfect as usual! Quick service, kids friendly. Will definitely visit again soon
Really enjoyed our meals and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We went early Saturday evening and the restaurant was quite full. Not the fault of the restaurant but it was quite noisy and difficult to hear each others conversation. However, that would not stop us going back again, which we will do.
Brilliant service brilliant food couldn't fault it. Clean and friendly. A great selection Cocktails to choice from making it the ideal place to go even if you don't want to eat there. All round nice atmosphere
This time we tried two new pizzas ( a fish one a a green one). Both were great! I love their big TV screens where you can watch sports (this time was the winter Olympics). We are always happy after a meal in Tribeca😍
Fab food and drinks, staff are lovely. It’s a chilled place not too rowdy, so don’t be going if you’re expecting a mad night out but for a chilled one with friends while you can drink and talk it’s perfect.
The food and drinks there were delicious. Went for a half and half pizza which made it even better as I got to try two brilliant pizzas. One of my favourite Italian restaurants
Attentive staff who made sure we had plenty of lager and wine. Good, friendly service and great pizza..can ask for nothing more. We will be back for the best pizza in Liverpool.
