There are Turkish kitchens, then there’s Turkish Kitchen, a Great Ducie Street restaurant with an auspicious past and a perfect location. The menu here is traditionally structured, with a selection of cold and hot meze kicking things off or, with a few to share among friends, forming a complete meal in and of themselves. Recommended grilled dishes include the karisik izgara – lamb and chicken shish kebab, chicken wings, lamb kofte, and chicken breast served with rice, salad and pita bread – but there’s also burgers and sandwiches to be had. Wine and beer, shakes and smoothies, traditional Turkish tea and desserts round off a comprehensive offering. Found just on Great Ducie Street just up the road from the Manchester Arena, Turkish Kitchen is an ideal place to toast freedom and make mealtimes melodious.
The food was so fresh and tasty! I got my self full off my starter cos it was that good! My main course once again beautiful but couldn’t eat it all due to my starter. Had no room for a dessert but will definitely have to have one next time I come. The restaurant it’s self and staff 10/10. Very nice place.
From the outside the restaurant didn’t look much but the staff food and ambiance once in and seated was really good. Good price and we would go again
Lovely clean restaurant with a great selection of traditional Turkish dishes. Friendly and efficient staff provided great service. We had a fantastic meal and the added bonus of free car parking whilst at a gig at The Arena was the icing on the cake!
