Something of a legend in Glasgow, Two Fat Ladies at the Buttery in Anderston stands loud and proud as one of the city’s most talked-about restaurants. Since 2007, this restaurant has been dishing out some of the best modern Scottish specialities in town, from pan-fried sea bream with sesame seeded pak choi to whole grilled sole with roasted almonds, flat leaf parsley and citrus butter. The restaurant also features a whole vegetarian menu for guests who abstain from eating meat. Was very busy for a Monday night at 18:30. This did not affect the level of service or the quality of food. Ambience was more 'buzzy' than usual. Will definitely be back.
Food was amazing and the staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend eating here and will definitely be back.
Fantastic food. Great service. Good selection of wines. The dessert sharing platter is a wonderful indulgence to end your meal. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated and the tables and seating arrangements give you privacy if you want it. It's a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit for a special occasion. I will definitely be back.
