About Ury Restaurant

By definition, an ury is a device used in bygone times to keep food away from the ground, fresh and tasty. Ury Restaurant in the Quayside precinct of Newcastle therefore prides itself on produce and dishes that are as fresh as it comes. Not just that, the relaxed atmosphere of Ury is inspired by the Kerala region of India where the usual bustle of the subcontinent slows right down. On the menu at this wonderful Queen Street restaurant you’ll find delicate tastes as well as lively Kerala spices, the result being Indian food unlike any you’re likely to have tried before. We’d hate ourselves for not recommending Ury’s dosas, so be sure to give those a whirl.
