If you’re in Sale and you like Italian food, there’s something you need to know: Vida has arrived – a stunning restaurant offering the finest Italian cuisine – and it’s damn good. Yep, on School Road, opposite Sale Town Hall, the flavours at Vida are refined and the setting is elegant. Sit amongst eclectic furnishings and ambient light while you select from an impressive a la carte menu or a range of curious small plates. The wine list is long and the cocktails are a stunning value, meaning we are pretty certain Vida will leave you charmed. Reserve a table now, you won’t be disappointed.
At Vida – one of Sale’s most authentic Italian restaurants – there is style as well as substance, a winning combination, we’re sure you’ll agree. Formerly known as Da Vinci’s, Vida is a chic and contemporary space. It is intimate, extremely stylish and somewhere diners are sure to feel relaxed – think dark woodswork, rich leathers and classic tableware. You can find it – excellently located in the heart of town – on School Road, opposite Sale Town Hall and a stone’s throw away from Sale Metrolink station, meaning there is no excuse not to visit and sample a true taste of the Mediterranean.
The team at Vida have put a great deal of thought into their menus, and it certainly shows. Begin, perhaps, with moules mariniere, fresh mussels with cream, white white and plenty of garlic, or goat’s cheese crostini. For your main, try the honey and lemon baked salmon served with a creamy prosecco and capers sauce, or the chicken ballotine, tender breast stuffed with spinach, mozzarella and sundried tomato, wrapped in serrano ham – all of this is refined, beautifully presented food. Vida is also open for foodies of Sale to enjoy a Sunday lunch, something from their bar food menu, or simply a glass from a wide selection of international wines. As we said, Vida brings style, and substance, it is Italian food that you can’t miss and we urge you to reserve a table now!
Friendly and competent staff, the food was delicious (served hot) and we weren't rushed in any way. Cost was average for a party of four, £40 per person this was for two courses and drinks including cocktails!
Excellent food and service - we had tickets for the panto at the Waterside and they went out of their way to accommodate us within their timescales. Would really recommend. Will definitely be back again.
Never disappointed here. Staff are absolutely great and food top notch.
Enjoyed a lovely evening at Vida. The food was really good, we found the round table to be great as everyone could join in conversations, very sociable
The food and portions at Vida are exceptional. The staff are professional and attentive. An enjoyable meal at a reasonable price with some nice cheeky cocktails to get the evening off to a good start.
Great service and great food at a great price. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. If looking to eat pizza choose the Amoure - Vida style...so good. Will definitely go back again when im in the area.
As usual. My family and I had great food and fantastic service at Vida. Book a table and see for yourself just how good local restaurants can be.
We visited Vida for a family Sunday lunch to celebrate a group of November birthdays. Lovely atmosphere, staff with a great friendly attitude and great sense of humour.
Excellent food and service. Good wine list at reasonable prices. All pasta dishes we ordered were excellent and the Vida burger was extremely tasty. A good night.
First time eating at Vida had been to the bar before - great cocktails. Excellent food, efficient fuss free service, plenty of room. Lively without being noisy.
