Atmosphere could have been made better by lighting candles on table. The service was prompt and the food arrived with good timings. Riggatoni was a bit bland and the steak in it, chewy. Truffle fries and salad were spot on.

lovely meal but quite noisy in the restaurant and music was turned up part way through the meal so elderly mother struggled to hear. Staff were busy so could not get their attention to pay the bill. small points

Table service was not up to standard. Forgot our drinks a couple of times - had to remind waitress whilst she was applying her lipgloss by the counter. Food was slow to arrive.

Another good night at Vida with lovely friends. We're never disappointed with either the food or service and as always Matt made us very welcome and special.

The service was exceptional. It was my birthday and we had two children with us. The waitress was so kind and made the evening memorable.

Lovely roast dinner which was cooked brilliantly. Very friendly staff.

I thought there would have been a set lunch menu so disappointed it was only a la carte. The garlic breads we shared for starters were delicious. One of the main dishes had a long hair in it. We were not charged for that dish. I thought the drinks, particularly, were expensive. Apart from our group of 7, there were only 4 other people in at lunchtime.

The meal, service, dining experience and value was very good

Soup was quite peppered in flavour and bread was quite plain in flavour. Chunky chips where quire sweet in flavour and both fillets where quite dry. Go to this restaurant quite a few times each year but this visit was not so good.

Calamari excellent. Hardly any puddings. I had lunch here one bank hol when I moved to Manchester from London. Atmosphere and staff were great that day but tonight seriously lacking and not the service I had the first time. Also the salmon risotto although very tasty extremely salty. Shame because I thought it was going to be my go to Italian!

Excellent service and value. Food was very good apart from tagiatelle which was listed as with prawn and spinach. Neither was very much in evidence - basically a just tomato and chilli sauce.

We had sunday dinner on a set menu. Was excellent value for money and food was delicious.
