Fantastic award winning restaurant in the Walkley suburb. Easy on-street parking. Welcoming and attentive staff. Great selection of traditional Italian dishes - probably not a good idea to ask for chips! We had the bruschetta appetizer followed by the aubergine bake and linguini mains. Finished with amazing tiramusu and good coffee. Highly recommended- will definitely visit again.

Great food and serve. The aubergine, anchovies and olive starter was to die for. My Seabass was cooked to perfection and the veg were just right. Had the cheese board for desert.

A fabulous experience. Vito was very welcoming and friendly. He was right, Italian beef is exceptional; the best steak I have ever had cooked to perfection. For dessert do have the tiramisu, it is incredible...an old family secret recipe and something special.

As always, food hot and excellent, service excellent, not rushed but timely. Vito's is a gem, rare to find this kind of consistency, in my experience. I will be returning.

As usual a great atmosphere and attentive waiting staff. Wonderful food, very pleased to see Agnello Con Prugne back on the menu. The scallops were delightful as was the PantaCotta for dessert. Wow!

Superb cooking, great menu but, as important, friendly, warm service - it's the staff that make the pace extra special. Such a shame that Vito is a Juve and Sheffield Wednesday fan.

Visited on a quiet Tuesday night with my girlfriend and her family from Brazil. Despite living in Walkley for a number of years, this was my first ever visit to Vito's - Indian is usually my first choice for a meal out but we fancied something different on this occasion. We didn't regret it. From the moment we arrived, the waiter (Paulo?) made us feel very welcome, as though we were long-time regulars. He was attentive, chatty and entertaining, but gave us time and space to enjoy our own company and decide what we wanted (we were quite indecisive). The food was high quality and fresh-tasting - certainly streets ahead of your average bland, overpriced Italian chain restaurants. Fish features strongly on the menu, which is always pleasing to me. An impressive wine list (perhaps too long - it took us forever to decide! - but Paulo made some good recommendations). It made for an excellent last night in the UK for our guests. We left feeling like old friends of the restaurant and would definitely visit again.

We had a marvelous evening at Vito's, a nice welcome, great food as ever and an excellent selection of wine. Really enjoyed the dessert special 'nana's cake'. We shall return to sample the new menu very soon. Grazie Vito!

As usual we had excellent food, wine and the best service at Vito's. We were made to feel very welcome and our table was ready for the time we had booked. We will of course be returning.

The food was excellent and the menu very versatile. It was good to have a mixture of smaller portions. The house wine was also excellent. Importantly, my hearing is not great and it is one the few places that I have been able to relax without excessive background noise. It is often hard to explain how much this influences the experience. The service was also very helpful.

Ace food, ace service. Best restaurant I've been to in Sheffield without a doubt. Surprisingly inexpensive for the quality of food. A must-visit for anyone who likes Italian food.

Delicious meal as usual. All the flavours are combined in a beautiful way and being Italian myself I cannot fault Vito's cuisine at all. The waiter is always going the extra mile to explain the dishes and ensure we're enjoying our experience.

Wonderful restaurant! Had a very good meal with 4 others in celebration of our daughter's birthday. Not the cheapest place around, but you pay for the quality. We will certainly return next time we are in Sheffield!

Warm welcome, excellent service. Smallish printed menu supplemented by daily specials (always a good sign!). The quality of food is excellent- meat and fish to die for, vegetables treated with respect. Wide selection of drinks- someone has an eye for wine. The house white is currently a Falanghina. Great desserts and coffee. A fantastic experience all round.

Scallops to start which were over cooked, one tray of vegetables for 4 people and wasn't offered salt, pepper or parmesan. Wouldn't go back sorry

It's several years since we were last in Vito's. The new decor is a huge improvement, the food was excellent, staff were friendly and efficient and the place has a good atmosphere. We'll definitely return.

Delicious food, friendly service... another lovely evening at Vitos! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Have been here many times and it has always been fantastic.

This is an excellent restaurant. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you have the full attention of the restaurants employees. The welcome is first class. the menu is concise, but elegant with choice for all tastes. It is reasonably expensive, but the food quality is superb. the ambience sublime. Extensive wine list and spirits. Our fourth visit in 5 years. we have never been disappointed. A little gem in suburban Sheffield. We live in Cardiff. Highly recommended. ps. they now run 5 course taster events!
