Good food but not a lot of choice on the dinner a la carte menu. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely return for lunch but maybe not dinner.

I found the starter very greasy ( sweet potato fritters). The steak was O.K. but served with frozen thin french fries. A few home made chips would have been much better.

Very friendly and helpful staff and the food was very good. The Groupon offer we had was great value, but we would go back again without a deal as the prices on the menu were lower than we had expected.

The food was lovely, with a great range of produce on the menu, including quite a few vegetarian options. My friend and I both enjoyed our meal, and we found the staff very welcoming. Service was a little slow, due to a lack of staff, but our waitress was very apologetic and more than made up for this with her friendly manner.

Nice enough restaurant with pleasant surroundings. Food and service left quite a lot to be desired. We had booked a table but when we arrived there was no table available so had a 10-15 minute wait at the door at the bar. Drinks ok, for food ordered a sandwich and mussels and received a salad and (cold) mussels (there wasn't even salad on the menu?!) It is a nice place but a little disorganised and cramped therefore things are not running as smoothly as possible. Almost get the feeling the place cannot decide if it is a restaurant or a bar - I think if it concentrated on one or the other it would do much better! Will try again but wouldn't rush back.

Unfortunately the evening we visited they were very short staffed therefore the service was very slow. The staff were friendly enough but under pressure. The food was alright.

The manager was on the floor and informed us that his staff did not come in for work, service was very poor and, my husband said the beef burger tasted horrible, and I had a rump steak which was not much better, we did get a complementary drink our long wait however we gave complaining when we got our meals, really poor show all round.

Booked on basis of website menus only to discover they had a new chef, changed the menu containing nothing we fancied. Also never seen the place so empty and lacking atmosphere.

I booked for a party of 6 for lunch. First impressions very nice. We were shown to our table & sat down. A la carte menu was all that was available according to our server. When we asked for lunch menu with lite bites /large plates we were informed this was only available Mon to Thurs. No mention of this on website. We left extremely disappointed :(

Sadly very disappointing, especially as we had taken friends who had never been before. Warehouse has gone down significantly since our previous visits which were both thoroughly enjoyable. On arrival we saw a sign indicating that the card machine was not working, cash only! There were no real ales or other dark beers, several items were off the food menu. When the food arrived two of the mains were good, the third was cold and was sent back, it was then fine. In the fourth dish the baby potatoes described on the menu had been substituted with potato salad which was not something the person would have chosen, when this was pointed out to staff no substitute was offered.

Okay but not great. Really quiet so no atmosphere. Had to return wineglass as there was lipstick on it. Ordered steak frites medium-rare; it was served well-done. Won't hurry back

Staff were pleasant and attentive. I can't say service overall was perfect as the two mains ordered took a little longer to arrive than I would have expected. The restaurant was not over busy at the time. The lunch menu was not available, presumably because it was a Saturday. The food was ok but over-priced. The premises had previously been occupied by Peckhams and had areas blocked off that had been in use formerly. This gives it the appearance of a place in transition. Overall. it is ok and in a good location.

A handy place to eat on the edge of Merchant city, food was good, not a huge range to deal with, good size portion, staff are happy to offer you advice on what to eat, only very small note of dislike, the seating is a bit strange, we had a table that had a bench seat in front of the wind that was a little bit higher than the old style wooden school chair I had, but it is only a small point, great value for money.

A tale of 2 halves! Magic starters and okay mains. Nice atmosphere but not helped by drink louts at the bar insisting on swearing loudly. Would visit again but not full marks yet.

Food not good; both felt queasy afterwards. Noisy music playing throughout. Grubby crumpled menus. This did not feel like a newly opened restaurant. Friendly staff.

Top notch meal, nice atmosphere. Deconstructed fish pie was unexpected but totally delicious. Minimalist cheese board with homemade biscuits just hit the spot. Groupon deal made it even better value but would have happily paid full price.

Starters were average with not much flavour. Main courses were excellent. Wine list was limited and they had run out of some wines completely. The service was good but the restaurant was a little on the cold side. Overall the meal was pleasant but wouldn't rush back.

Horrendous meal that comprised mushy fish pakora the consistency of a bathing sponge and a steak that was so chewy it would give Hubba Bubba a run for its money. Coupled with shockingly bad service and attitude and no atmosphere -this is one to avoid at all costs. Save your money and go anywhere else. Had visited when it first opened and it was first class it seemed to have an actual chef in charge, the menu is now bad pub grub. People at next table also complained about the mussels and fish and chips. To cap it all, on the already limited menu there were 4 dishes unavailable.

I bought this for my mothers birthday and booked a table for 7.00 for 4. My son has just had a baby so they brought her along. Unfortunately we were not allowed in as no children were allowed at that time. This was not stated on the voucher I have not managed to use the voucher which expired on 30th April and had to then go round the corner and pay for a birthday meal for my mother 87 who was upset that we could not use the voucher she had been given .

Disappointing service especially as restaurant was quiet Waitress was quite unhelpful and seemed to have a couldn't be bothered attitude The male on duty who seemed to be in charge was much more efficient Wanted soup and sandwich but told this was only available with soup of the day not Cullen skink Why can't you order Cullen skink and 1/2 sandwich combos do pay more ? surely as a recently opened venture you should be keen to accommodate needs of customers Requested a cake and was told by waitress that only plain scones were available, however we could see Danish pastries which we ordered and these were eventually delivered

Some seating issues like the variation in chair heights and positions. Menu was OK. Service was OK. The Chennin Rose wine was excellent and complemented our pork dish well.

The food was nice but the restaurant didn't have much of an atmosphere and even though it wasn't extremely busy everyone seemed to be sat at tables right next to each other. Also, the wine tasted quite watered down.

First time visiting, very easy to find and get to, we arrived by train and it was only a 5mins walk to our destination, once arrived we were welcomed by a friendly waiter and the place was modern and clean, liked the copper details throughout the interior design of the restaurant. Excellent food and service, my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised, we will definitely visit again.
