Great curry and excellent service despite being very busy on a Friday night. Good value and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend and will go again soon.

Although very busy. We were quickly seated, the waiters were very friendly and took our order without delay. Food and service were excellent. We will return.

Have had lovely meals here in the passed but will not be returning over the Christmas/new year period as it is a set menu which we didn't know until we got there. The set menu had 6 starters none of which I liked and my boyfriend didn't have one but we were still expected to pay 20 pound for a starter main and one sundries they did make me chicken pakora to start but was told the chefs wouldn't be happy a nd they didn't do chapattis either

Love this restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Great decor and wonderful tasty food. We think the chicken liver tikka deserves an award- a must each time we go. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and delicious food. Our two friends had not been before even though they live locally, they were very impressed with both the food and the service and will definitely be returning.

Best pickle tray, big and tasty starters and main course nice and spicy. Very friendly and efficient service. We would recommend it, only problem for me no pub close by to go for a drink first.

It was extremely good ... My father prefers this restaurant to most of the others he goes to in the area ... He does have a couple of favourite dishes but tries other things sometimes!

The service, meal and atmosphere was perfect, no complaints and will defiantly be back! We have been on a few occasions, this visit topped them all.

We have been going to the Westbourne for the last 12 years. Sadly, I don't know if it was because they were busy, but the popadoms were soggy. Waiter asked us if two of the men in our party wanted the "child's portion". As I say, never happened before but not that impressed really. We will tell them when we next go. Overall the food is generally 10/10.

My restaurant of choice whenever I'm asked. Customer service is fabulous, and the menu is so varied the food is always first class! Great restaurant!

This visit to The Westbourne Spice was not our first but we have always found the service, the food and the atmosphere excellent and we were not at all disappointed this time either. We shall be going again!

Always great at Westbourne Spice. Just had a face lift and looks great. We have been going as a family for years (now with 16 and 12 yr olds). Always a buzzing atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. Strongly recommend.

Embarrassment when we arrived with friends who had travelled over 209 miles for the weekend only to find the retaurant was shut!! Ruined the whole night!

Me and my partner visited on Friday evening and thoroughly enjoyed it.We returned on Sunday with two friends because we were that impressed and we all had an good evening ,the food ,service and prices are excellent.We will be there again soon.

Very good exellent curry staff very nice and helpfull 3rd visit will definatley go again and would recommend .Used different curry resteraunts but like this one best keep up good work

Great ambience, wonderful friendly and informative staff and the best Indian food ever. Just a super place and I love it there. Highly recommend. Four of all ordered different food and every dish was excellent.

On entering the Westbourne Spice, we were greeted by smart friendly staff, our booking was confirmed. We had the choice of either having a drink in the bar area and perusing the menu, or going straight into the immaculate restaurant. We chose to go into the restaurant, and were given a choice of several tables, Once seated drinks & poppadoms were ordered & quickly arrived, while we choose starter & main. All courses arrived freshly cooked without having a long wait. The attentive waiters seamed to have a good balance, between leaving you alone to enjoy the food and replenish the glass when required. A slight downside in the restaurant can be large noisy parties, so choosing the table worked well. Best of all the food was superb...

Good service and good food. Be warned when selecting starter though - quite big portions! A big place and the decor isn't amazing but it's busy so the general ambience is good. In general, a good dining experience.

Excellent food, I was recommended a chicken and Keema dish which was delicious. Excellent service from attentive friendly but not overbearing staff. Will definitely go again.

Great welcome , food always excellent the service @ the Westbourne Spice is always good . The food hear is the best Indian food around Yorkshire. We eat hear often.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They made the meals to our requests. the food was excellent. You are not rushed off of your table even though there was a lot of people waiting for tables.

This is usually our favourite restaurant, but this visit the main chicken dish was a bit tasteless! Plus the chicken was like preformed squares? Not as nice as normal. Staff are friendly as always and good service.

Favourite Indian restaurant in the area. Early bird is great value too, mon-wed £9.95 for poppadums, starter, main and side. It's licensed too and the wine was fab
