We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were attentive and the pub has a lovely feel about it. I am vegan and the chef made up a special menu for me. We will definitely be return when we are in the area again.

Amazing place. Visited twice on our Easter stay in the area. Food and customer service was fantastic. From the first visit, we highly recommend the fish curry....would love the recipe. We then returned for Sunday Lunch...again really fantastic. We eat out a lot with the children, and cannot pick any fault with the White Bull. Can't wait to return in future if we are ever in the area again.

great visit. Really good quality gastropub food which represented good value. We stayed down the road and the staff even offered us a lift back to the hotel to avoid ridiculous taxi charges!!

Lovely food and pleasant waiting staff. Service was a bit slow but it was busy. Pity they let people sit at the bar as it makes getting drinks and paying the bill very awkward.

Loved the food great service as always, this time we had our 18 month grandson with us they had highchairs available and a children's menu but was a bit shocked as there were no baby changing facilities therefore I had to change him on the floor in the ladies, not ideal unless I didn't see them

The food was more than just the usual pub fare. It was very reasonably priced and excellent quality with one of our party commenting it was the best fish pie they’ve ever had. The staff were very polite with several of them fussing our dog and giving her a treat

This is definitely the best meal we've had out in a very long time. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They made a special vegan menu for me. Absolutely fantastic place we will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Nice pubby atmosphere, More of a bar-meal than a restaurant experience. Food of pub standard, nothing special, but good, plenty of it. Bit of a cock up on the bill, we had the 2 course Sunday Lunch, but were charged for the items individually, once told, it was amended.

Great local pub to where we were staying at Ribblesdale Lodges so we walked up. Saturday night so it was busy but food, staff & decor really nice.

Excellent service from the second we arrived. Food was fabulous, the room was perfect. Would highly recommend this establishment for a night away. Set in a perfect place to enjoy walking and exploring the lovely countryside.

Food was beautiful staff friendly. Service was a bit slow but food is cooked fresh abd worth the wait. Had the steak and ale pie which was fantastic. Apple and summer berry crumble was amazing.

Greeted by friendly, helpful staff and a really excellent 'pub' menu. The atmosphere was good and the food can only be described as outstanding! I had the lamb rump with roasted Mediterranean vegetables and crushed new potatoes. The lamb was perfectly cooked, pink and juicy and the vegetables added to an already delightful dish. All in all, I can't praise the food highly enough. As they say, 'my compliments to the chefs' - excellent!

Excellent food. Good value. Wide choice on menu and specials on offer. We had the fish and chips special which was a bargain on a Thursday.

Really nice local (gastro)pub with excellent food and friendly service. Bit stingy on the gravy, but the roast beef was excellent as was the crab salad!

Very good service and tasty food. Lovely to sit out in the beer garden. Relaxed and friendly ambiance. The barman recommended the Seafarers and it was a really nice pint. Excellent Sunday roast we went for the chicken but our friends had the beef and fish pie which both also got very good reviews.

Food excellent price good and service was fabulous.well worth a visit. We had the Sunday menu and 18.95 for 3 courses was fabulous value for money.

Nice meal, reasonably priced and pleasant atmosphere. The waitresses were very attentive to our needs. Food portions were generous. Food service was fast but took some time to bring/pay the bill. We would come again.
