A very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent and well presented. My wife and I always put this restaurant first for a meal out.

Excellent food, friendly service and value as always. All the food we ordered was perfect. Looking forward to next visit already. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Sunderland.

We had a fabulous evening the food, service and atmosphere were first class. The staff were attentive but not pushy. The offer of a break between courses really made for a relaxed evening. We will certainly be back again.

The 3 of us had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Food was presented superbly and tasted great ! We ordered from the special menu and service was quick and attentive. We will definitely be going back :)

This has to be my favourite Indian in Sunderland. Excellent food and service. Good choice of dishes on the menu. Nice place to have a meal with friends or with a partner.

The restaurant is spotless, the food is lovely and service is excellent. Far too much for me to eat so had to take some home!

We have been dining at the Yuvraaj since it opened and the food and the service is consistently excellent. We are never rushed between courses and all of the staff make the effort to ensure a pleasant and personal dining experience.

Excellent food- very well presented too. The staff were so accommodating without being over-bearing or pushy. We had a great evening and will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely outstanding me and my partner couldn't even eat it all as we was full but we defo will see u again soon

Just OK not great, no atmosphere as hardly anyone else in, and we weren't expecting to wait so long to be served. Food was OK, staff pleasant enough it was just slow service, and empty. We knew the new restaurant up the road would take business away so thought we'd give this one a go expecting it to be great to be competitive. We'll try the new place now, sorry.

I booked a table for 6 people and the atmosphere was great, the food was great and the service was second to none I would recommend the restaurant and the cost is very competitive dare I say cheaper than I expected, parking is limited on site but there’s a free car park just round the corner

Yuvraaj has an interesting, different and enjoyable menu. The service was excellent. This was my fourth or fifth visit and I will definitely return. Very good value for money.

Another very enjoyable visit to our regular Indian restaurant, this time with two visitors who were also impressed. The food was, as usual, first rate and well served and presented. The restaurant was busier than we usually see it as it is Easter week, but the service was still efficient and the atmosphere created by Moni and his staff relaxed and friendly making for an enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This was our first visit to Yuvraaj, we took my mother for mother's day. The building is nice and the staff were polite, however unfortunately they were not coping at all with the number of guests; we had to wait so long for our starters we were about ready to eat the tablecloth. Then another hour's wait for the mains on top. Even while waiting, a requested drink never arrived. The food was nice and I think this is probably normally a good restaurant however we saw them on a bad day. They were apologetic about the wait which is why I have given them 3 stars rather than 2.

Amazing food, best Indian restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! So tasty, the tandoori prawns were unbelievable! Really reasonably priced, couldn’t fault anything, will most definitely be back!

It had been far too late no since our last visit to Yuvraaj. The food and service was excellent as always. Will go again soon.

Warm welcome, great service and food consistently good. Car parking is good if you are lucky but street parking ok. This is a regular venue to catch up with friends and family.

We had a table for 10 booked for a 59th birthday. The food and the service was brilliant, this was my first visit on a reccomendation and will be back, staff made sure everything was fine with food and drinks and if when we were leaving, but not too much in your face just the right amount

Wonderful meal, fantastic ambience. Not rushed, waiting staff were very helpful, always there ready to help with drinks or extras. Will be back over and over again x
