An interesting wee place- would recommend. A couple of wee things to iron out to be outstanding. My husband's main (the pork belly and fillet) had a bit of strange tang to it and my hake was ok. Duck starter was super tasty creme brûlée and lemon tart desserts were excellent. Also the amuse bouche of a tiny mushroom soup was delicious! Overall worth a visit reasonably priced for high quality cooking!

Another excellent meal at 111. Second visit and second time having the tasting menu which is superb value for money. We arrived at around 8.20/8.25 for an 8.30 booking. Our table wasn't ready and they were very apologetic, at 8.33 we were given a complimentary glass of prosecco each and our table was ready 5 mins later. Excellent customer service that will guarantee a return visit.

Went with my partner as we were in Glasgow for a romantic w/end. Location is not ideal but well done to them for helping regenerate the area with such a good restaurant. We chose to have the 6 dish plus matching wine option and it was delicious! I've been avoiding places that offer that sort of thing for fear of them being well.. snobbish but this was so nice and cosy and you could see the food being prepped and the staff were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. But the food! The food was delicious! Everything well paired, different textures and flavours , all well thought through so creatively! Looking forward to visiting again !!

Great atmosphere, fantastic food and lovely wine. Tasting menu is fabulous and I can't recommend highly enough. I'm vegetarian and the fact they have a separate, but well-crafted, vegetarian menu is perfect.

Absolutely perfect evening, myself and wife rolled up half an hour early and were seated right away, service throughout the evening was first class, nothing was a hassle for them. Our menu was explained in full and the way the taster menu works and if we wanted to match wines to each course. Then the food started. WOW is all I could hear from my wife, will the occasional OH MY GOD, and she was right the food was sensational. Again on service the dishes were explained in full and we were offered fresh drinks as the glasses emptied. As the plates were cleared fresh cutlery appeared and the experience continued. The star of the show for us was the duck egg and also the ham haugh, these two dishes were so memorable that we were still talking about them this morning, the theatrics of the ham dish was amazing and the taste of the duck egg with wild mushrooms and white truffle was sublime. Our seats were located directly across from the pass and again as part of the dining experience my wife loved watching the calm but very professional chef plate up with the most delicate of touches. We eventually asked for the bill (not wanting to leave) even asked if they done bed and breakfast rates. We were treated with a bit of Glasgow banter as the check slip reads nothing but "the damage" very amusing, however for two people for a five course tasting menu an added cheese board and plenty of soft and alcoholic refreshments a latte and an espresso costing no more than one of the kids computer games we were delighted. This wee diamond in Glasgow is more than good good this is a place for THE DINING EXPERIENCE, the food the service and even the small touches of the music choice made everything perfect. No complaints, no cagoule have dones just sensational. Thank you and we will be back time and time again. Kindest regards Mags and Chris Forbes

The taster menu was easily worth the £30 - fantastic value and delicious food. Only comment would be to keep website updated with current menus. Otherwise no complaints at all! The service was also really friendly. We went for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was completely booked out! Great atmosphere!

Itison voucher for the tasting menu- great value. Nice ambience, lovely staff and great food. My partner dislikes mushrooms and two of the courses were adjusted to accommodate him with no fuss. Had the tasting wines to match- interesting. Will be back!!!!

Excellent food and attentive and charming staff. A nicely decorated, understated restaurant. I would have given the highest rating however I had two problems. Firstly, I found the lighting to be glaring with uncovered light bulbs and spotlights. Secondly, the restaurant was very busy and full of convivial diners and as a result it was very noisy and difficult to hear dining companion. This was not helped by fairly loud music playing from a nearby speaker. Having said that would certainly return and hopefully choose a quieter evening.

The staff (whilst lovely) were a little over eager to remove plates, twice when my daughter hadn't quite finished. The meat aspects of the 6 course taster were a little overcooked in fact the ham hough was a little tough. However, the presentation and the flavours were excellent and I would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

The food was simply fantastic and a good wine list too. Nice atmosphere and reasonable price. Only slight criticism is that the coats were just behind our table and the waiters had to keep passing right next to our table. Minor point, it wasn't bad.

Excellent food. Had the tasting menu for £30 and it was as good, if not better , than Michelin starred places I've paid £80 or £90 for. The house wine was lovely. The staff were friendly, efficient , knowledgable and attentive. I'll certainly be back.

The food was wonderful. Creative, unexpected. Great flavours. Staff were courteous and accommodated our fussy children. We had scallops, duck, lamb and pork. All very good. The fennel and apple salad was inspired, so refreshing! The coffee pannacotta was the icing on the cake!

We waited nearly 30 minutes before anyone came to our table to take our order - no one even took a drinks order until this point. Both starters were lovely. Both main courses were overcooked and my husband tried for 10 minutes to attract staff attention. Finally he rose and took his fish dish back to the pass. Even there he was ignored so he came back to the table leaving his plate on the pass. The manager came over 5 minutes later and asked if he wanted to order something else. We said no thank you and asked for the bill. He brought the dessert menu. Again we asked for the bill. He brought us two liqueurs and eventually the bill. Throughout this, no one cleared my half-eaten dinner from the table. Yjey doidn't charge for my husband's untouched brick hard fish. The bill was £71 for a very disappointing evening. We had heard great things about this restaurant and had travelled a long way to eat there. We admire Nico's philosophy but he should not be sending out food that is inedible. it was a Saturday night and the place was very ery busy bit that's no excuse for poor customer service, massively overcooked food and shirking responsibility.
