4500 Miles From Delhi - Bristol

Went for lunch and used an offer. It was excellent, far better than I had expected . Well presented and delicious. Will definately be going back.

Brilliant food as always. I would recommend the paneer tak-a-tak, which is absolutely delicious. Service also highly impressive. Best Indian restaurant in Bristol in my humble opinion.

Very good food, although the service felt a bit rushed. Our table of five was sat on the site of the restaurant next to a dingy staircase when there were plenty of tables free in the main part of the restaurant.

Looked forward to this as the menu was different to the usual Indian. Not disappointed as the food was lovely and very good service as well.

Food was excellent and I appreciate prompt service but when starter plates have been cleared a gap of more than 5 minutes before mains came out would be appreciated

A lovely restaurant serving a large variety of high quality Indian dishes. The staff here are very welcoming and provide an excellent service, I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely food!!! Dishes I’ve never seen on an Indian menu before!!! Clean and modern restaurant. Staff could’ve been more pleasant but it didn’t ruin our experience, would visit again.

Great service even with a group of 12! Food was excellent with a something for everyone. Would highly recommend for family or friends. Can't really comment on smaller groups as they are split away towards the front of the restaurant which is good for everyone.

Food was absolutely Delicious. The choice was really good and food was lovely and hot. Service was really quick but no pushing for us to finish quickly. The larger was wonderfully cold served in iced glasses. The restaurant is very well decorated and tables laid out very smartly. Would definitely go back again and again.

Great food - lots of good vegetarian options alongside an extensive non-vegetarian menu. Excellent and friendly service. Good, central locations.

A nice restaurant with good service but the food wasn’t great. Far too sweet and over-cooked. I selected supposedly “hot” curries from the menu but they were a disappointment.

Lovely food, good service and surroundings. All home made pickles and you can taste the difference. Spotlessly clean , highest standard of hygiene. Always enjoy our visit here. The food is beautifully presented and the taste is lush! Recommend you give it a go, situated ideally on the centre.

Unfortunately the chef must have had an off day as 3 of our party of 5 were disappointed with their food. I ordered Garlic Chilli Chicken and it had very little taste and what taste there was was vinegary, not at all pleasant. Won't be returning

Good service could be a little more friendly. Food was Ok not exceptional. Decor was a little old fashioned and could have been a little lighter.

I went to 4500 From Delhi with a small group of friends, for Saturday lunch. We enjoyed a really excellent, and good value, set menu. The service was very good and there are a good variety of vegetarian options. I would recommend this restaurant.

Lovely food, very quick service for a Saturday night. Not very attentive though but I don’t know if this is just because they were busy, no offer of another drink, didn’t come to ask if the food was ok and took ages to get their attention to ask for the bill. Very noisy too but like I said it was a packed weekend, that being said the food was delicious!

Not only is the food always good and tasty but the staff are very friendly and attentive. Quick and efficient without you feeling rushed. Will be back Soon!

Went last year as superb but disappointed this time round. A lot of money for ok food. Sad to say what not be going back, a shame

Very nice place to eat, very wow factor inside, but although meal was nice it did not have wow factor that I was expecting. Will come again and try something else as I did enjoy it, just not as good as I was hoping. I am very fussy : )

We booked for a group of 10 on a Friday night at 8pm. We were seated immediately, and the staff brought drinks and poppadoms very soon after we arrived. The food was excellent, and the service reliable. It is not the cheapest Indian restaurant in central Bristol, but it is considerably more polished than many alternatives.

Waited for nearly 20 minutes before being offered a drink and then they didn’t bring enough glasses. Apart from this the food was excellent, need my condiments with the poppadoms though.

Very good experience, quick services, food was tasty with a good mixture of dishes for the main course. Starters were lush, with 2 poperdoms each to start with - we have left with very full bellies!!

Great food, great service and brilliant atmosphere. It was the first time the missus and I had visited there after a year of wanting to go. We weren't disappointed.

We had a wonderful meal there- fantastic service, delicious food and super surroundings. We were given a voucher to have a 4 course lunch and when we arrived we were told it was a set menu. This meant we tried lots of wonderful and tasty food that we wouldn't have chosen ourselves!
