4500 Miles From Delhi - Bristol

The menu is fairly limited unless you like hot/spicy curry. The temperature of the food was warm not hot & they don't place food warmers out. The service was very good, although it was very quiet for a Saturday night & they do check if your happy with your meal & will happily change it if something is not to your liking. The restaurant was clean.

Very friendly, knowledgeeable staff. Nice to sample various dishes on this, our first visit to his restaurant. It was a very cold winter Sunday and we were surprised it was not full of diners keep to warm up. S

I went with a group of friends for a meal before the theatre. There was an amazing array of different dishes on the menu. We all enjoyed our chosen dishes that was cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly and informative to help us decide what food we would like. It all added to making it a wonderful evening. We will definitely return.

Right in the centre of Bristol city, the food Is outstanding, the service is fabulous and the atmosphere was lovely. Look forward to going back.

Celebrated our 9th anniversary with a lunch time meal for two. Amazing food, great surroundings topped with prompt and polite service - everything you could ask for!

Went for New Year's Eve. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. I Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice restaurant in the very centre of town

Very nice ambience, music and attentive staff. The portions were just right but not too much. Food came quckly, course after course, and we'd finished quickly. A huge selection, prices mid-range. Definitely would come again.

Would have given 6 but starters came a bit too soon. Everybody’s food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We would go again.

This is such a beautiful Indian restaurant. The service was fast and polite and the food was outstanding, their menu has some different meals to other indian restaurants which is refreshing.

Great restaurant, the only downside was the popedom dips were a little sparse compared with most Indians, and the food came out a little quickly because they were very quiet. I understand we’re probably in the minority and a lot of people like being served quickly! We will certainly be returning again.

Very disappointed with our visit. The curry was OK. The naan was dreadful, flat and tasteless. The poppadoms weren't fully cooked and they came with only 2 pickles and not enough for the four of us eating. As soon as we had finished eating a dessert menu was flashed at us, we declined, then the bill put down. Only a couple of minutes later someone turned up for payment. We said that we hadn't had chance to look at it yet, he just stood there. Basically we were in and out within the hour, hardly a social experience and it cost over £100, not worth it.

Great service and food. Even though they had run out of the fish dish I had order they gave a better alternative. Would go back again.

Lovely restaurant and really good food. The dessert made of carrots was one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great location. We went at lunchtime on a week day so it was quiet.

Excellent food, atmosphere and very high level of service! The staff coped extremely well as the restaurant was very busy particularly at this time of year and also with the fact that we were a large party of 20! Can highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal in your restaurant. A place we visit whenever we are in Bristol. Superb food, especially the black lentil Dahl! Staff are always very attentive. A delightful evening.

The outside looks a bit dark but don't be put off. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is superb. Not cheap but top class. If you like Indian food you must try it.

Are there before abdvit was lovely but this time really disappointed. To start the menus were covered in food and the popsdoms arrived with only 2 dips abdctge other 2 dips arrived after we had finished them. Then our starters arrived 20 seconds after we ordered them and were overlooked so obviously they weren't cooked to order and the main was OK, overall wasn't great and won't be going back.

Great food, served quickly - just what we wanted before going to the theatre. Try the Punjabi sizzler dishes or Hydrabadi chicken. This is a third visit and we are never disappointed.

Booked this for my sons graduation well located in Bristol . Restaurant has a nice laid back feel about it tables are a good distance apart giving you privacy. Friendly service but a little slow especially as there weren't many other diners . Open kitchen which I like as you can see it's very clean . Would recommend this restaurant

Been many times to the 4500 miles from Delhi and as usual no let down again. The food is delicious, the staff are very attentative and polite. Would definitely recommend.

The food and service was very nice indeed. But it took 35 mins to be served and eat a 4 course meal which was a bit of a shame. We felt rather rushed. Great food though.
