8848 Restaurant

Great food, but we felt rushed out of the restaurant at only 1030pm as the staff appeared to want to go home so early. Will definitely go back.

Nice food, nice people, and good value, would have been better if it was busier but is apparently busier in the evenings. Would go again

Easy to book using Quandoo. 8848 fantastic restaurant with sublime food. Staff attentive without being overbearing. First time at 8848 and definitely won't be our last.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Everything that we ordered was delicious. Very reasonably priced, we will definitely recommend 8848 to friends and book to go again the next time we are on Aberdeen.

I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. It's also a very nice atmosphere. Generally a very pleasant experience. Would definitely go back.

Food was excellent, however had a 1 hour wait for it! Busy Saturday night so didn't expect it immediately, but the fact that they kept letting more people in when they were struggling to cope didn't help.

Went there for anniversary meal on quiet Sunday evening. All in our party were unanimous in thinking the standard of service and quality of food was outstanding. I had the mixed fish platter for the main course which was amazing. Will certainly return in near future.

We thought both the service and the food were very good. The only issue was that one of the deserts we requested was not available as was a second option.

Excellent food and Service. Was confused why website didn't allow us to book a table at 6pm (only 5:45pm or 6:15pm) as restaurant was very quiet.

Went on a Friday night - group of 4 guys. Portion sizes a little modest, but great food, service and surroundings. Definitely be going back

Another great visit and enjoyed their high quality meals and drinks. A shade rushed from course to course but we got them to "slow down" a bit. We will return next time we visit Aberdeen.

Enjoyed another great evening at 8848 with delicious food and great service. The staff really looked after us and helped select some mouthwatering dishes from the menu.

VERY EFFICIENT & FRIENDLY STAFF, FOOD EXCELLENT AS WERE THE PRICES. THIS RESTAURANT IS A MUST FOR A GREAT NIGHT. WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK AGAIN.

The food and service are always top notch here - keeps us coming back, as does the Golden Everest beer which you can't get anywhere else.

Excellent food and nice atmosphere. Also very pleasant staff. If I had one little complaint and its one I have in lots of restaurants is that we had to ask for water twice. Funny as the alcoholic drinks arrived quickly.

8848 is probably the best up scale curry house in Aberdeen. Good menu choice with Nepalese food as well traditional curries. Service is also excellent.

Food was amazing! I would not reccomend the cocktails...they didn't taste like they were described in menu. Also it was a very busy Saturday night So service understandably took a little longer but staff were very pleasant. Will definately go back as food was fantastic.

Food excellent but air conditioning made table where we were seated upstairs very cold and uncomfortable. We asked them to alter air con but to no avail.

Very good service, nice clean restaurant. The menu has a lot of Nepalese dishes which are a change from the usual Indian. I have been to 8848 on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed.

Excellent food. Lovely flavours and cooked to perfection. Excellent range of choices with some unusual dishes I haven't seen anywhere else. Great drinks menu and unusual desserts. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent food and ambience. Attentive wait staff who didn’t rush you through your meal. Salmon starter was perfect as was the main course. Just needs something chocolate on the desert menu!

Delicious food! Would recommend trying the traditional Nepalese dishes. Wonderful food on offer here. I would highly recommend the Himali Duck in particular. Staff friendly and helpful too!

The best curry I've had in aberdeen at a very good price. I recommend the lamb shank for main. I'll be coming back soon hopefully

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was superb and very reasonably priced. We really liked how the menu was very varied and plenty to choose from.
