A really nice Italian, great food and really good service. Highly recommend the saltimbocca and the swordfish. Would recommend and would return. Give it a go!
Best cooked steak I've ever had, great food choice and the staff were very friendly, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We will definitely be going again.
Lovely food and friendly staff, can't wait to visit again! We opted for a main meal and dessert. The salmon pasta was amazing and I can definitely recommend the cheesecake :)
The food was ok but the meatballs in the starter were raw inside. We told them and instead of getting the starter for free which was a shared starter costing £16 in which we thought was the least they could have done, they decided to give us the cheap garlic bread for free instead. The service wasn't wonderful either. I wouldn't recommend it and i wont be going again.
Calzone was bland, was not much in it, too much dough. Barbecue belly pork blew your head off, wasn't informed it was spicy HOT!!!! Do not think we would go back.
Lovely relaxed meal, good choice of special dishes too. Attentive friendly staff - they made recommendations. All meals good, drinks too. Excellent service - will go again.
Great food and excellent wine. We chose the sasso menu and the sea bass was cooked perfectly. My partner had the steak and whilst good, she was not given the choice of how it was cooked and subsequently it came out a little too well done for her taste.
We pre-ordered our food as were going to a show at 7pm. The food arrived within minutes of us being there, and it was absolutely delicious!!!
The staff and food are always great. The atmosphere relaxed and fun and nothing is too much trouble, my husband is really fussy and it's 1 of his favourites!
Delicious food, clean and pleasant surroundings and attentive, but not intimidating, service. My children and I (ages 11 and 15) had a delightful meal. We'll be back!
The food was excellent and the service was brilliant five stars. Will definitely be returning and recommending the resturant to others. Wonderful food and with avoidable prices
Amazing service with quality food! The range of food and wine is outstanding! Highly recommend to and one who loves authentic Italian food! Such a fantastic evening!
Went for husbands 40th. Very nice place with friendly staff & quick service. One small thing that could have been better was an option of kiddies meals as we took a 7 & 10 and had to pay for adult meals which weren't eaten as too much. Really nice place, would definitely go again and highly recommend.
Very enjoyable meal good food very fresh and tasty attentive service . I had the chicken butter bean sauce with leeks delicious good portion of vegetables would definitely come again
Beautiful meal and lovely service and we enjoy ourselves and iam love Italian food the best and food taste best and the wine great taste
Amazing food, definitely the best Italian food I've had. I had chicken breast, wrapped in bacon with creamy mustard sauce - beautiful ! Lovely service. Brilliant with children. Thoroughly recommended.
We really enjoyed our tea at Abruzzo and will defintely go again, in particular staff were friendly and very accommodating with regard to out children not always sitting still. Food was delicious, especially the bruschetta.
Arbuzzo located in the center of Macclesfield. If you like Italian food, this place can offer you a great menu. Working hours are convenient - it is often open, when majority of places around is closed. Personnel is friendly and attentive, food is served quite fast. I would highly recommend to taste creme-brulee desert - it is something!
Excellent service and quality food. Waitress was happy and fun which helped create a relaxed atmosphere. We had fillet steak and branzino, well worth a try.
Gone very downhill lately, the new chef and new menu is not nearly as good and the service was terrible. Foccacia was raw in the middle, gnocchi was overcooked, penne was bland, pizza dough was thick and undercooked and some of the toppings were raw, the only decent dish at our table of 6 was the linguine mare, and they'd not cut the langoustine so my friend had to break it open with his hands. The servers were terrible, ordering was painful, having to repeat dishes again and again, the server also offered fries without letting us know they would come covered in a thick layer of parmesan and black pepper. When the food came they passed it down the table instead of placing it in front of the person who ordered it. The drinks were slammed down on the table, almost spilling. The server with the black pepper and parmesan only served 2 people of 6 then walked off, we had to ask him to come back and finish. Abruzzo used to be a very nice restaurant, with an excellent menu and quality ingredients, now it's overpriced, poorly cooked, poor quality food with bad service, I was incredibly disappointed and embarrassed to have brought my friends there
Great meal, great service. Food was very tasty, on time and atmosphere felt very authenticm Cheerful and friendly waitress. Would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks
Great place, food was nice however staff were stressed and you could tell that they were, maybe try not to make this obvious to customers
Great food and service. Staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was varied and interesting. I would definitely visit again and would happily recommend it.
Always a great experience. The welcome is always warm and the menu is extensive with reasonable pricing. Choice of wine is good too however the house wine options are perfectly good.
Absolutely lovely food, but suggestion for slight improvement. Ditch the salad garnish on the mushrooms and focaccia unnecessary. Serve mushrooms in a hot bowl...easier to dip the bread in the yummy sauce. Serve sides in warm small bowls rather than on plates, keeps food warmer.
The restaurant was brilliant, I am gluten in tolerant and was looking at most of the non pasta and no pizza dishes as I thought I was unable to have any of those however when mentioned it they said they did gluten free beers and gluten free pasta so I was able to enjoy their pasta dishes and a lovely beer.
Great food good portion size lovely atmosphere would recomend to everyone all food freshly cooked great choice of Italian food and a good wine list too overall if in Macclesfield give it try
Always love a trip to Abruzzo! The food is lovely, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Always my first choice for somewhere to eat out in Macclesfield!
The food was ok, Mussels were very chewy so sent them back.
Good food and atmosphere, was buzzing on a Friday night. Very good value for money and nice selection of wines. Only downside maître d' looked a bit miserable.
Great service and good food. House red wine very drinkable. Used to eat here regularly but for one reason or another haven't been did quite a while. Will definitely revisit again soon
We had a splendid evening at Abruzzo: there was a lovely, lively pre-Christmas atmosphere to greet us, a warm welcome from the staff, a broad menu (we were spoilt for choice!) excellent food and impeccable service ~ and all at a reasonable price. We couldn't fault it!
Loved it! The food and service were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. We took my daughter who loves Italian food and she rated it the best she'd ever had. Highly recommend it!
Friendly Italian restaurant with helpful & efficient staff and delicious food. My husband and I treated ourselves to the fillet steak which was a very generous size and was served with a scrumptious sauce. My daughter opted for a pizza which also looked very nice. Our waiter was very attentive and kindly offered my daughter the chance to sample a couple of the white wines before making her final decision on which to order. I thought this was a very nice gesture. We dined early as we were attending the theatre but even by 6.30pm the restaurant was filling up so I advise booking! Go on, you won't be disappointed ! Thanks to all at Abruzzo for a lovely meal.
Really great restaurant would recommend to all. staff are friendly and helpful they go above and beyond and the food is fantastic good chose to choose from
First time ever going in, will definitely be going back. Me and my girlfriend loved the food, the service, and a really nice atmosphere in the place. Would recommend.
Ive been eating at Abruzzo for many years, and the food and wine are always excellent. There's always a great atmosphere inside, with friendly staff.
The staff were friendly and looked after us really well and the food was amazing. I would definitely go again and recommend it to my friends
Went out to eat at last minuet. Have been a couple of times before and never had bad meal. Staff friendly and always accommodating. Even when they were very busy once managed to fit us in upstairs with a hen party, which was quite a different evening. Food always good.
Lovely food, a great atmosphere & friendly staff. Couldn't fault a thing. I shall definitely be visiting again in the near future, and recommending to friends.
