There’s something very sociable about enjoying Turkish cuisine with lots of small dishes to share such as fried mussels, falafel and halloumi, complemented by big bowls of hummus and baba ghanoush served with fresh, stone-baked flatbreads. Agora Restaurant on Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth town centre specialises in all those delicious dishes, and plenty more too. Serving up a combination of Turkish, Greek and Mediterranean fare, their menu is packed with excellent meat and vegetable options, with a whole host of main courses for those who prefer not to share their food. This fully-licensed restaurant is the perfect place for a boozy dinner with friends or family, but just make sure you book ahead because it’s a busy spot!

The starters were superb.... we shared liver, calamari and lamb with hummus Our kebabs were all wonderful though I do like them presented on the kebab stick personally My husbands baked lamb was disappointing though. Not a large portion and overcooked in his opinion. He has eaten this a few times in Greece Puddings great too Friendly staff and clean restaurant
Wonderful food and service, the owner is a lovely chap and treated us as friends. Would highly recommend.
Tasty food, responsiveness at the end of our meal got slower - not so good. Overall experience good.
