Great decor and atmosphere for Sunday Gospel Brunch. Menu s bit odd: a few breakfasts egg dishes and some Sunday Roasts but the food is ok and the atmosphere and singing is terrific

The service was very slow and the table wasn’t even set when we arrived- we had to stand there and wait for chairs! It was a Saturday night though and there were lots of big parties in. The cocktails were lovely and the staff were very helpful and apologetic, we just felt forgotten about compared to the service and the attention the big parties were receiving. Our bill came to 65 pound, and it was not the service you’d expect for that type of money.

Fabulous afternoon, we enjoyed the food and the ambience. Will most certainly return on our next visit to Liverpool and take in the evening entertainment. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, good atmosphere and good food. If anything the service was too quick. Received our food (mains) seven minutes after ordering. Definitely recommend for a fun night out though.

Lovely venue and excellent service. Our food was delicious! The only thing we would have liked would have been a bigger choice for vegetarians. Other than that, a great night out.

The venue is great. The staff throughout were fantastic, friendly, cheery and helpful. The only thing was that the mains weren't of the highest quality, they just lacked something, the whole of our group seemed to think so. After dinner we went down stairs to the bar for drinks and that was great, the show and the crowd really made for a great night.

Prawn starter Luke warm and bland. Main course which was basically a chicken kebab was a tad uninspiring. Service was good however and location is stunning.

Second visit and very happy although a bit formulaic but would like to book for the Gospel breakfast on Sundays Waitress did not know that Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine and last entry on dessert menus - a £24 drinks donation to the chefs is odd and not very funny

Nice place but uncomfortable seats. The food wasn't that warm and we didn't like how they just shouted across the room for service when the meals where ready in the kitchen

Went for ‘gospel brunch’. Singing lasted only around 20 minutes into our slot. Not well priced for the amount of food that is served, but the quality was good. Drinks did not arrive until the middle of lunch.

We love Alma De Cuba but we were disappointed as the website showed it was an open-mic nite but it wasn't! Also showed 3 courses for £20 and it wasn't! However there was 50% off food offer on so that was fine. One of us is vegetarian and she chose the Ocra curry but she said it was a bit tasteless. I had the mixed hanging kebab with plantain chips...it was lovely especially the chips...they were absolutly delicious. The staff were very helpful and the surrounding are amazing so overall we had a great time! They just need to keep the website up to date!

Great venue, nicely decorated and good atmosphere. The food was average, the charing-course was a little too small for 2 persons, we had to order an extra portion at the end. Also, the staff wasn't paying attention to the guests, had to wait about 15 minutes to order more drinks.

Great venue and nice atmosphere. We went straight for mains and unfortunately my partner’s fillet steak was overpowered with a burnt taste even thought it was medium rare inside. A little disappointed with the quality of the food for the price we paid. Staff were friendly and we still had a nice evening.

The service was fine, however what let it down was the long delay on food. Also when our mains came out they had to be sent back as they were cold and then when they came back a second time wasn’t overly hot but after nearly being there 2 hours we decided to just eat. I was pretty disappointed that no manager came over to apologise. I would definitely think twice about returning which is a shame as my first experience was amazing

Fantastic setting. Waited 40 mins on arrival for drinks. Starters were good, main was beef. But far too chewy and majorly tuff. Cheap cuts of meat. Not up to the standard it should have been. Bannana bread pudding disgusting dry as anything sent it back. Staff friendly, gospel singers amazing! Been here before in the last and returned because it was great so very let down by todays experience
