Alma De Cuba

Great meal sat up on balcony just overlooking the stage, restaurant helped us to surprise the birthday girl with a free cocktail and a birthday cake which they added a sparkler to. We were able to keep our table all night had we wanted to which would have been great for the entertainment. Food was beautiful definitely recommend.

The decor was lovely. The staff very friendly and attentive especially with my young daughter. The food plentiful and tasty, with the added bonus of being entertained by the gospel choir ..

Food was lovely and staff were excellent. We had a bit but if an issue with one of the mains, but the staff handled it so well and were lovely!

We were 4 older ladies all on our 70th birthday ‘s ! At first thought we were a bit old ?(and we probably were) but we were made so welcome the cocktails we were given were great ! Lovely nightxxxxx thank you

At our request we had a table in a quieter area. Service was brilliant, our waitress was lovely. Food was good. Atmosphere brilliant. Will be going back soon with friends.

No Rum Zacappa om the menu anymore, dissapointed... But ok food

Was a good visit, food portions was good, great service, clean, gorgeous place. The gospel singers were good, just needed to smile a bit more, cocktails was good, and my brownie was a bit dry.

Great venue. Food was very good, friendly staff. Took a glass of Prosecco while waiting for the table and it wasn’t good. All the rest, 10!

Lovely Sunday roast meal with huge Yorrkshire pud! Yesterdays live music (Gospel Brunch) was a great addition to the afternoon. Would recommend the experience to any age.

We came for Sunday Brunch. Great food especially the passion fruit and mango posset - best dessert I’ve ever had! Gospel singers were fantastic. Lovely atmosphere. Service was good apart from the stuffing for the chicken which was left off 2 orders. When queried they said a batch had been burnt, and it would be with us shortly. It never appeared, but everything else was so great that we forgot about it. At the end we realised they had given us a discount of £28! Our daughter was delighted with the giant sparkler attached to a cocktail that appeared as it was her 21st.

excellent service and food was really good. there was a choir singing which was a tiny bit loud but overall it was a great experience.

Great atmosphere, decent prices and surprisingly good food, with lamb steaks up to serious restaurant quality. A bit noisy at times, but basically a great evening!

Service was not the best came over once to see if everything was ok so we only had one drink we came for evening menu 2 dishes sold out so left too pick from 2 other dishes as one was vegetarian not much choice nice place think it needs more choice on the menus and better table service

Our table for 2 was in the main flow of people and kitchen so very busy area, the food was amazing and the team working there made it a great place to visit again. We move to another table as people left and watch the show. Very good night

Excellent food and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere with candles lit everywhere. Not as much choice on the menu as last time we visited but that is not always a bad thing. Would visit again!

Beautiful building really well renovated while keeping the feel of a church,we met lovely staff who were very friendly and welcoming beautiful music from amazing singers,food fairly average

Food was good, not much choice or detail on the wine, but it was also reasonable. Restaurant was not very full. but despite being fairly empty didn't feel so. Beautiful venue.

Good food and service. Our table was very close to gospel group so hard to speak to each other when they were singing as pretty loud.

Our visit to alma de Cuba became a very successful evening. We started the evening eating at the restaurant. The food was good and large portions were served. The bartender mixed great drinks and everyone in our party was happy. Later in the evening, a carnival atmosphere was invited by Alma De Cuba's dancers. The whole place exploded in dance and party atmosphere. We stayed all night and I can warmly recommend making a visit to Alma De Cuba.

Fabulous meal and table on tbe balcony, loved the singers and even did a request my mother asked for . We will definately return xx fab service too xx

Great venue, food was presented well and good quality, just a shame there was no Cuban influence to the cooking as that was why we were going there !
