Great food at a reasonable price, buzzing atmosphere and staff very attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable evening out in nice surroundings and being so close to home is a bonus.
Food good, surroundings pleasant but very noisy. Children & babies after 21:00 - not good. Vakue fir money acceptable. Without the noise it would have been good.
The staff were very attentive and had a good knowledge of the menu. The food was good and the restaurant was well presented inside. Didn’t have to wait long for the food. Will definitely eat there again.
Fantastic service - the waitresses could not do enough to make sure we were happy. Combine this with fantastic food (hot and authentic) and you are on to a winner!
The food is always beautiful and tastes fresh, and there is plenty to choose from on the menu. The staff are really well trained, polite and helpful. I keep going back and will continue to do so.
Really poor food and average service. Calamari poorly presented and minimal and Crab and Advocado covered in an overly strong lemon dressing. Main course of Swordfish was covered in the same poor dressing and tasted off. Only consolation was the price of the main course taken off the bill. Scant consolation !
Excellent service in this lovely restaurant. The food was delicious especially the seafood tangliatelle. The decor is tasteful and relaxing. This was our second visit and definitely will be back
Overall the food was really good and thought that the the price for the meal for 4 people was reasonable given the quality of the food.
Fab Food - really good service - its going up in my ratings best food -italian around this area Not sure if the chef has changed - but it was really nice
Excellent food new waitress on which was good entertainment, said waitress was then rescued by reinforcement from another restaurant as it was extremely busy that night.
As usual excellent food, a good atmosphere and friendly staff...we have not been disappointed since finding this gem of a restaurant it’s truly authentic and we will definitely be returning again soon...
A nice atmosphere and relaxing environment, the meal was very good with a wide range of options on the menu. The waitresses were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Would definitely return in the future.
Our first visit to this restaurant was a very pleasant experience. Welcoming and attentive staff and an excellent menu choice. Good value and we will certainly be eating there again.
Outstanding, perfectly cooked food, good portions, warm welcoming staff and the best limoncello. Our first time here but we were extremely impressed. Lovely atmosphere too.
Great food and atmosphere. Staff all very attentive. I would have given top marks had it not been for the live music. The singer was very good but not needed as previous background music was fine. Conversation stopped because you couldnt hear each other speak. Some glasses were knocked over on a nearby table accidentley but the amount of bleach used was so over powering. I would still reccommend Amalfi as we have been several times before and couldnt fault it.
Fabulous local restaurant, beautifully presented & tasty food , good selection of wines priced well & .finished off by very friendly staff. See you again soon.
We are regular visitors to the Amalfi as the food is great, well presented and it is great value for money. The atmosphere is excellent as well, the restaurant is just about the right size and is quite intimate. I have recommended this to my friends and family and none are disappointed . They have recently introduced entertainment on a Friday, this is just acoustic but it's a fab idea and adds to the already lovely laid back atmosphere. We will be back!
We were a table of 6 for a birthday meal. There was a live singer which added to the atmosphere. Great food and service. We will definitely return.
Extensive menu, good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff but the service was quite slow. Early Bird menu looks like it could be good value. Will visit again.
This was our 2nd visit. One of the 4 main meals was very poor - meatballs very dry with little spaghetti sauce. Was offered half refund on the meal - perhaps a full refund would have been more appropriate given the poor quality of the food. Live singing was awful - loud without any tuneful singing. Wouldn't it be better to have recorded Italian music/singing as it is an Italian restaurant? Pleasant, friendly staff.
Staff and surroundings were lovely but the food was very mixed. The Calamari was average, Penne Arabiata tasted salty and the desserts of Tiramisu & Chocolate Fudge Cake were disappointing. However, the fillet steak was really good and was cooked exactly as ordered.
Yes my party enjoyed the evening, there had not been before apart from myself. The portion sizes were very large and some people took the food home It was good to have a live singer, but as he was behind us he was loin at times The staff were very polite and gave us a free drink I help run a dinning group and would go there again
Pretty good overall. The Chicken Livers on the Specials menu were lovely. Beautifully cooked with just the right amount of kick from the chillis. Would definitely s as a starter. My partner had ribs, which weren’t quite as good as the ribs she’d had previously at Amalifi but were ok. Our mains were both very nice. Florentina Pizza and Buffalo Chicken. Both were good and couldn’t be faulted. Service was good although we had a bit a wait for the wine. We’d have perhaps had a second bottle had we started the first earlier. I just have one big moan about this place and that is they don’t seem to be able to control the heating and if the restaurant is chilly early on in the evening they rely on sticking the aircon on warm and blowing hot air via the oscillating units. Fine if you’re not in direct line but very unpleasant if you are. I asked them to turn them off tonight which was an improvement but then the fans were tuned on to distribute the air which was also fairly unpleasant. Tonight they had a solo artist who played guitar and sang. He was very good and added his own flair with a bit of beat boxing. Only problem was his amp, although small was too loud for the restaurant as a whole. One group of about six asked to be moved and the next group of six who replaced them also made comment. I assume they couldn’t hear themselves talk as the amp was pointing directly at them. Great idea but maybe not quite right for the venue. Overall 8/10
first time visit to Amalfi Yeadon. Food good. staff friendly and helpful. Nice décor in restaurant. Car park small and on a slope so can be tricky but a minor issue. very happy with visit will return.
Lovely meal great service as always - as I am dairy free it would be wonderful to have a choice of some dairy free desserts!
Lovely food, great value, but very poor service. Had to physically as get up and go get a waitress every time we wanted to order, get a drink etc. Needed more staff!!!
Great food, lovely atmosphere and pleasant staff, would definitely recommend this restaurant for families, couples and large groups, this is our second visit and was as exceptional as our first visit.
Lovely food with a great choice on the menu. Will definitely visit again.
Good food great service in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Very friendly waiting staff explained specials. Not trying to offer ubiquitous Italian fare but new variations which was well prepared on a busy Saturday evening.
Lovely food yet again and very polite service. Prices reasonable, will be going back soon. Can recommend the fish stew, all the pasta dishes and steak not to mention the tarimisu.
Excellent as always warm welcome on a very wintery evening, great atmosphere great wine friendly efficient staff, very busy but no delays with food or ordering, a good all round service 😃
We battled through the snow to get to the Amalfi and was not disappointed we did so. The service was great and the food excellent.
Service slow.but girls serving were very nice. Food very average. Chicken dry and over cooked. ? Fresh dough for pizzas. Parts of the food tasty enough....but overall could of been better.
Amalfi restaurant was brilliant, the food was lovely and staff were very friendly and attentive. The early bird at the restaurant is very good value too. Would highly recommend.
Very attentive staff. Good food and a lively atmosphere. A very enjoyable evening. Why do you have to enter 25 words when 10 are quite sufficient.
Couldn't fault the food and the service was very good. The only reason we gave 5 rather than 6 stars was because they took to long to give us the bill so we paid at the bar on the way out. Great restaurant though, recommended.
Very welcoming and attentive staff, food was fab and restaurant was spacious. Guests not on top of each other and it was quiet even though the restaurant was busy which was great for us. Thank you
Lovely food in very pleasant surroundings and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly
We had another lovely night at Amalfi for my sons birthday. we all really like going here the pizzas are fantastic!:) the staff are so friendly and service great
