Thanks for a great evening. It was lovely food and wine as always. Very attentive staff and good service. We will be back very soon.
We had a meal here last night with friends and had a fabulous evening. Lovely food, friendly and efficient service and a great ambiance. Will be going back soon !!
The food was excellent, and good value. Service was very pleasant & polite, but not quite as polished as it might be. Will certainly be going there again.
Lovely food and service. Fab decor, modern and classy. Seafood was cooked well, tender and not overdone. Couldn't fit desserts in but will on the next visit! Recommend this place
I have eaten in this restaurant a few times now, it is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. The ambience is cordial and the staff are very friendly and helpful...the Maître D' is very attentive yet unobtrusive. A varied menu, the food is delicious and the portions are balanced. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wishes a nice relaxed atmosphere coupled with excellent Italian fayre.
I visited last Friday for the second time the first was just after it had opened . Love the venue but had the same complaint as last time which spoilt it for me on both occasions . I had fish and it was served with lemon sugar crystals which you don't realise until you bite on one and then you think you. Have broken your tooth. Then your left with a sugary taste in your mouth with the fish which is not a pleasant sensation. It was mentioned on both occasions and the waiter said he would not like it but it appears not to have changed.
Excellent service, good food, clean, friendly and reasonable price - what more would you want - 5 given because didn't see the toilets otherwise 6
Nice main courses, lamb rump coooked to perfection but not enough spinach/gnocchi for the £18.50 price tag. Mushroom Risotto well cooked but not much mushroom taste. Generous portions. Tiramisu came with sweetend (yellow) cream which it didn't really need.
The staff were very welcoming and the decor and atmosphere were good. Our main courses were excellent but the starter not so good. We had a sharing platter. The mozzarella balls were 'wet' and the dipping fried dough was rock hard. This was a real shame as we enjoyed our evening, and would certainly give it another go.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Great food. Excellent service. A beautiful restaurant with down to earth, warm and friendly people who made us feel wecomed and looked after.
we were greeted warmly by the staff and only had to wait a few minutes for a table for our party of six. The food was excellent and although it was late, we were not pressured into leaving
We went for the early bird, excellent value as always. Very nice food. Been a few times and never let down, will be back soon!
Service was excellent. The ambience was good. The food a little overpriced I thought but well served. The seafood pasta didn't contain much seafood and the mushroom risotto was a bit soupy. The other meals were very nice. Overall a lovely evening with family.
Lovely food and service. Nice layout of the restaurant. Italian larger was nice. Clean toilets. M m m m n n n n m m
Pleasant appearance, decor good, service great BUT. If a fillet of fish is to be served then please say so! Sea bream is a whole fish. That was the menu presentation. A filley of Sea Bream is not the same. Somewhat disappointed.
Fantastic as always staff and food plus so good with children we visit most times we decide to eat out as it is the best in the area
Overall a pleasant place with good service and reasonable prices. Both my partner and I however had comments to make on the starters. The asparagus special was quite unpleasant, very sour tasting and a little too much chilli, a bit like a culinary experiment gone wrong. My pork rib dish would have been great without the over spiced BBQ sauce. I like spicy food but this one was a little too much for that type of dish. No such issues with the mains or desert however so we will be back, next time for pizza, they looked divine.
Very attentive staff, excellent food reasonably priced. There was a party group in the restaurant which made it a little noisier than usual. The deco is very attractive.
Ambience very good, Service very good, Food could stand some improvement, it is not up to the standard of the Italian restaurant where we usually go ( every week ). We want you to do well as you are local to us and Yeadon needs a good restaurant, but your not there yet.
Lovely, welcoming restaurant. Light, airy decor creates a good atmosphere. Staff welcoming and efficient. Food good - portions generous. More vegetarian options would be good.
Excellent food & service . Reasonably priced . Pastas and pizzas excellent Enjoyed the early bird meal . Wine choices very good . Good beers
This is my third visit here. Really good service and delicious food cooked fresh to order. The waiting on staff didn't rush us; they were attentive but not constantly hovering. Would really recommend this place for quality, service and value for money. Will be back
Great food, great service in a lovely setting. The Italian fish stew was very good and the calamari soft inside a delicate crispy batter. Everyone else's meal was just as good.
The food was excellent, but the waiter who served the food could have been more cheerful. The decor was impressive, but the atmosphere was a little lacking: more subtle lighting would have helped.
Lovely meal. Friendly attentive staff. Great surroundings and atmosphere. Our only criticism from the 6 of us dining was that the toast served with the chicken parfait was too bulky, needed to be more delicately sliced brown bread. The same thick toast was served with fish stew ,it should have been a lovely fresh bread to mop up the fab sauce.
Was a lovely evening. Food and wine was great as were the friendly staff. It's all decorated out beautifully making it a pleasant atmosphere. Will certainly recommend to family and friends.
We visited (2 adults 2 children) on a Tuesday at around 7:30 which was slightly after the early bird had finished but that was our intention. Really friendly arrival and service was prompt. Lovely food and nice size portions left no room for dessert! Price was reasonable for the meal.
Good evening great atmosphere service just right food quality good although the tonne pizza was very salty. C9st slightly high however overall a 9 out of 10 expierence.
Food and atmosphere were excellent, with the staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely relaxing decor and lots of space between the tables. Overall an excellent meal.
Having eaten there before successfully we were disappointed this time. We understand it was a busy day ( Mothers Day) but standards must not drop. Starter was not as advertised and dessert was offered but menu never arrived! Left after 2 courses. Need to maintain standards. Good reputation , don't lose it!
Lovely food and good service. Great decor and ambience. The menu offered a good choice at reasonable prices. Cpmplementary limoncellos presented with the bill, very nice!
This was very convenient and easy to use booking the restaurant was very easy when your busy and don't have time to keep trying to phone the venue
Amazing food, service and atmosphere, will definitely be returning. Authentic Italian, so hard to come by with chains being everywhere, nice to see an independent restaurant, and hope they have continued success
After visiting last night, l would highly reccomend Amalfi, Yeadon. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and very good food. Have already booked to go again! 😁
Amalfi was recommended to us. Lovely restaurant, beautiful decor, good service (even on busy mothering sunday) and delicious food. We will definitely be returning soon !
Food was ok not brilliant. Service was very good. Restaurant was very nice inside. Not a great selection on the early bird menu. That was what we went for and I ended up ordering from a la cartel menu. Quite expensive too.
Great restaurant would highly recommend. It had brilliant service, lovely food and fantastic atmosphere. The food is great value considering the quality, I requested something that wasn't even on the menu and they happily made for me, without question.
Far exceeded expectations, never thought a restaurant as great as this could exist in Yeadon. Atmosphere, food and service all of the highest quality. Highly recommended.
The Amalfi is very nice inside, well decorated. I loved the fact that the tables were spaced well apart. The service was great and the food was excellent.
Party of 7 and we had a lovely evening, food, ambience and service were all lovely. Very friendly staff, and really nicely decorated. Value for money, we will certainly go again in the near future. Lovely to have such a good restaurant on our doorstep, brilliant!
Love this place. Sergio is a great host the foods very nice good value for money and the atmosphere is lovely also, would highly recommend
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the front of house staff are very welcoming. Menu choice is good and dishes are great value for money; we spent a lot less eating here than we have done at other Italian chain restaurants and the food is a lot fresher. Waitress forgot about us a couple of times- we asked for some bread for the table- but the restaurant was busy and she was apologetic when she realised
We were made very welcome by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous - we were spoilt for choice. The house wine was very palatable. We had intended to opt for the early bird menu, which is excellent value, but we were so taken by the tempting dishes on the main menu and specials, we went for that instead.
Had a really enjoyable evening, great atmosphere, a nice welcome when we walked in. The food and service were excellent and very good value for money. Well worth a visit
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food first class with plenty of choice. Only minus was a party of 12 who were extremely noisy. Two different bookings who were seated next to them asked to move. Hope this was a one-off.
The food was excellent, great service and nice atmosphere in the restaurant, very impressed! We will definitely be going back. Great to have somewhere like this in the local area.
Our first visit for a Birgham party .Food Excellent. .staff very obliging...Food fantastic with lits of choices on the extensive menu..Need we say more.. Defimatey be back again soon.
The food was very mediocre, and the waiter wanted to kiss all the women on leaving and some of them found this offensive. There was eight of us and the two people thought the food was ok and six people thought it was lousy. We will not be returning.
We had a lovely meal here. My starter was scallops from the specials which was stunning and cooked to perfection. My husband had the pecorino fritters which he liked but said he thought they would have worked better with a more creamy stringy cheese like mozzarella. For mains, I had the chicken, mushroom and sage risotto which was beautiful and hubby had the Meat calzone which he raved about. The service was really good and the atmosphere was really relaxing.
Lovely atmosphere very friendly, beautiful decor and great value. There is an excellent early bird menu available too including a large glass of good quality choice of red or white wine. Very friendly staff.
