Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Definitely recommend! The homemade breads are delicious and the olive pate is a must. You can bring your own booze too which is a bonus.

A lovely evening for my daughter's birthday. For a small family business couldn't believe the extensive menu. Food was delicious and the service great. Even put up a banner and balloons for birthday. With the decor and music felt like a little piece of Greece in Adel. Would definitely recommend and will be back again

Great little place to eat! Took advantage of the special offer before 6.30pm. Forgot to take our own wine but enjoyed everything all the same. Food fantastic and different ...... Will definitely be returning before too long. Service very friendly and can highly recommend you give it a try.

Had a really enjoyable evening. The beautifully prepared food was excellent from a wide choice of freshly cooked dishes. The staff were really friendly and passionate about good food and service. The only reason I haven’t given full marks was because we had to wait a long time between appetisers and mains due to the restaurant being so busy on a Saturday evening.

We have returned many times. The food is fantastic and the service is warm and friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening. We will be back.

A beautiful restaurant with truly lovely staff and the food is beyond amazing. It has a lovely relaxing atmosphere, a place where one can sit for hours and completely forget about the time. I am sure I will return there again and again and again.

A gem of a restaurant. We choose it to have dinner with a friend who lived nearby and had also live in Greece. Authentic food, cooked and presented in an authentic atmosphere with BYO as a bonus. We will go again.

I have been to Amalthea several times and enjoyed a very warm welcome and exceedingly tasty food. The ambience of the restaurant is comfortable and the staff friendly.

Amalthea is the best restaurant in Leeds by a mile. I love the family atmosphere and the food is outstanding. I can’t sing it’s praises loudly enough and take everybody I know there. Halloumi with cinnamon and honey is a revelation.

Amazing place with genuine Greek atmosphere. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel really comfy. The deep fried feta cheese with the honey is a must try. Would definitely go back.

Outstanding food and service. The menu is always updated with new and interesting regional Greek cuisine, unlike the run of the mill Greek food served in most restaurants. The owners are always lovely and welcome you back like an old friend. A very enjoyable night out whenever we go.

Restaurant is still BYO there is a handy coop next door . food is excellent authentic Greek style. the owner met us at the door with a very friendly welcome. all the staff are friendly and professional. Definitely our favourite restaurant. There is also Greek produce on sale to take away honey,jam etc Free parking available.

The menu at Amalthea has increased the scope and range of dishes on offer, including fish and vegetarian options as well as the meat dishes. The food that we had was very good and authentically Greek mainland, well cooked, presented and flavoured. We will definitely return.

Food and service was amazing! Even dealing with my dad who has dementia and poor mobility, even though he tried to buy a display book on his way back from the loo, and became a bit overwhelmed after he’d poured himself one too many ouzo’s. Thank you so much for your cheery and professional attitude, it is very much appreciated. Will be recommending and coming back with friends for an evening meal soon!

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The food is really good and reasonably priced. We had the sharing Greek meat meze, it was excellent. The BYOB is a bonus.

I took a friend here for lunch. We had an excellent meal both choosing dishes from the brunch menu. I have eaten here before and knew to eexpect superb food and first class, friendly service. It was the first time for my friend and, even though she lives quite a long way from Adel, she will be back soon. It's that good.

Had a fab lunch for 2. Took our time. Loads of choice. Enjoyed every mouthful. Certainly going again soon. This place is a gem :)

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, extensive menu so something to suit everyone. Everything we ordered was delicious. And nice touch of shortbread biscuits with the coffee. Couldn't ask for more!

Good food and service as on several previous visits. Great to see the restaurant so busy but that did make it noisy, which made conversation a little difficult. Unfortunately one of our party was feeling unwell which rather shortened our stay and prevented our evening being as good as it might have been. (Clearly no fault of Amalthea, and we will return.)

Loved it, food & atmosphere gorgeous. But the best thing was the service, genuinely lovely, we will be back. We also bought from the deli section and the products are soooo tasty, from sun dried tomato paste to carrot jam (which is spot on) all super delicious!

Excellent as always! Great new summer menu, many meat/ fish & seafood / vegetarian options, sampling dishes from many areas of Greece. Dependably friendly, knowledgeable service. Top marks!

Eaten here quite a few times, food delicious, plenty of options to choose from and great customer service always! Look forward to my next visit
