What an amazing restaurant! We were lucky enough to be able to eat downstairs in the private room and watch the Flamenco dancing. Oh my word! Absolutely fantastic! Never seen anything so mesmerising before, truly wonderful. A valentines special set tapas menu with incredible choices and our selections were delicious. The wine was to die for and the service was fabulous! That’s probably enough superlatives but I really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back. Ole!
Everything was lovely. The service was great and the food was as well. I will definitely be coming back and I would recommend it to anyone.
First time at Amantia, everything was excellent, the food, drink and service. Turned out that Monday’s was 3 for 2 on tapas so meal was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back
Great deal on Monday for buy one get one free on tapas, but a great place any day of the week. Service very good, atmosphere both sophisticated and welcoming, food excellent and they have flamenco shows once a month.
Lovely meal. Initial service a bit slow but staff very helpful and pleasant. Really good value for money in a city centre location . Would recommend
Always excellent. Great food service and ambience. The Tapas range and quality is consistently top notch. Nothing is too much trouble for the attentive staff. Highly recommended
Excellent food with such a variety of menu choice. The customer service was great, staff paid attention but weren't overbearing. We will certainly visit again.
Chocolate was missing, even if it was free should be in the package as promised. Then the delivery man don t try to call the interphone so I had to bring the package at the central mail office. Bad first experience.
Lovely food and excellent service. Especially liked the tapas sauces. Orders were taken promptly and food came in good time. Decor was classy. A good overall experience.
No parking , my friend went in and asked where to park the nember of staff was rude Unhelpful.. at one point they were so busy our waiter poured someone else’s white wine into our rose wine glasses ... not paying attention to us I’m sure therablewhose wine itvwas wouldn’t have been happy.. as our bottles were not cheap . The food was cooked to perfection but service wasn’t brilliant.
A relaxed and enjoyable mid week lunch in this authentic tapas in the centre of Birmingham. Whilst the range of tapas was quite limited the staff were attentive and all Spanish speaking.
I didn't like the food at all, I had octopus for my starter it was rubbery and prawns which had too much chilli, in it and had no flavour. For my main I had black rice paella with weird worm squid in it. That tasted so horrible, the only thing I liked was the wine. Although the service was good.
The food was good however the service was a little poor considering how quiet the restaurant was and they forgot one of our tapas dishes.
The food was fantastic, there was a great choice on the menu. There was a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. Happy to recommend
Great food and great atmosphere. Six tapas plates between two was too much, five would have been perfect. I know it’s all meant to come at once but bringing plates out slower would have been better. Would recommend.
great food / wonderful staff / will return again very soon / the service you received is second to none / good selection of white and red wines
Lovely restaurant with exceptional staff. You always get a warm welcome at Amantia & yesterday was no exception. The tapas was of a high standard & very enjoyable.
Had a great time at Amantia yesterday, the food and sangria were amazing. The restaurant is sleek and in a great location. The staff were very helpful. Could not fault it!
Delicious food! We also went to a Spanish guitar/flamenco evening in the restaurant which was really fantastic great night out and something different to do!
Amazing tapas dishes. Sometimes a little too salty but very tender meat. Would highly recommend.
Great meal, only drawback was that the tuna on my dish was very overdone. The service was good, the rest of the food was good, as was the wine. We try to get a table at Amantia whenever we visit Birmingham.
Very nice new menu, worth coming again to try it! Forgot how pleasant it is to eat there! Sabe a España, muchas gracias! :) x
Good and often interesting and tasty food, good wine, pleasant surroundings and good service. Ideal lunch venue. Value for money. What more can you want?
Relaxed evening with friends. Good range of dishes meant we all had a fun time dipping in and trying everything. Our vegetarian friend even had a good choice. No room for main course as we loved all the tapas. Leave room for desserts though !
Everything was very good. The service perfect! Wonderfull Sangria! Amantia is really an amazing restaurant. All the staff is very linda and polite. Good choice!
A Saturday night at 5:15pm. Swapped booked table to one more inviting, no problem. Chose Tapas, lovely except not warm enough for us. Felt like it had been sitting around too long. Great service and lovely staff though.
Very tasty authentic Spanish dishes, served by friendly staff. Very good cocktail section - I recommend the house gin and tonic with apple and cinnamon!
Very good and pleasant once again. It is always welcoming and a pleasure to dine here. I have took my parents and my partner on numerous occasions now. We will be returning again most definitely in the near future.
The Paella and the tapas were really tasty! The sangria was fantastic! The staff was amazing. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere. We will come back!!! :)
Our New Years Eve meal was lovely. Very tasty tapas and not served all at the same time! A good atmosphere, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Have been here twice before and would certainly recommend.
We had a great time on new years eve, excellent food, great service and also looked very nice inside with a great ambience, will definitely return.
Relaxed atmosphere and good food with very good customer service. A great place to meet friends and have a good time over some tasty and interesting dishes.
Great service and delicious food! This was a treat for my parents Christmas present and they spend a lot of time in Spain and thought the food was very authentic.
Awesome food combined with very friendly & helpful staff made for a great evening. Would thoroughly recommend
Friendly welcome on the day before Christmas Eve. A great selection of tapas; our party of 6 (4 adults and 2 teenagers) gobbled up everything. Not too pricey either
Our experience was disappointing, from the catalan bread ( a slice of bread cut into 4 ) to the ribs that were cold in the middle. The prawns were tasteless and the meat ball sauce bland. The only decent dish was the fresh tomato salsa. We will not be returning
The food was fantastic! Purposely booked lunch early to enjoy before the rush. The restaurant was in full flow by the time we finished our mains! Staff were very welcoming and friendly!
Great food and wide variety of choice. The staff were excellent and the service was great. One the best restaurants in Birmingham. A real gem.
Had a lovely meal out with my girlfriend yesterday, really good tapas with great flavours will be back for sure. The staff were great too :)
Great atmosphere. Traditional tapas (love the gambas) . Good value for money. Attentive service. I would highly recommend Amantia and will definitely be back soon!
