Excellent authentic Tapas with great variety. We enjoyed fantastic service and hospitality. A very enjoyable experience.
The food was great, had a number of the tapas dishes and the paella
Great. Lovely food and excellent service. Would definitely go back there. Wine was amazing and tapas was lovely and filling . Really good menu and service
First time visit. Excellent food in sensible quantities in pleasant surroundings at sensible prices and with good service. Will come again. Good value for money.
lovely restaurant, great service, really nice ambiance, great choice on the menu food and wine, fabulous tasting food, will definitely be, returning for another meal
Lovely Spanish restaurant not far from Birmingham Central. We had tapas which was excellent and freshly cooked. This restaurant is well worth a visit and we will definitely go back again.
A group of five of us had our annual Christmas lunch meet-up at Amantia. It turned out to be a spectacularly good choice - tremendous food and great service and attention from all the staff. We will be returning.
Superb food and the wine for the cheapest white was absolutely spot on! and lovely staff, definitely will return next time I am in Brum!
Fantastic Food and Service perfect for a business Lunch however we were the only table in there so lacked a little atmosphere which was a shame and not echoed by other Restaurants we originally tried to book at but were fully booked. Perhaps not enough people know about it but most definitely worth a try.
Great food with a wide selection of interesting tapas options, great atmosphere on a busy Saturday night - will definitely be back and would recommend highly.
The food and service was fantastic. We had 6 tapas dishes and my 7 year old daughter enjoyed all of them. The restaurant has a great ambiance which makes you feel relaxed.
Great food, fun atmosphere but not too loud to chat, lovely staff. Pretty good value too. We had an excellent evening at Amantia. Thank you!
Great service, the tapas is amazing and they have great sangria. I would definitely go back! Ideal city centre location, don’t miss out on this place!
Great food gteat place great great great great great great great great great grwat greatgreat great great great great great great great great great great great great
The menu offers a great selection of tapas which we enjoy and more importantly after my wife and I ordered 6 of them to share they tasted as good as they looked. The staff are a delight, knowledgable about both food and wine. We will soon be back for our third visit.
Have been a few times now, this was our latest visit after about 5 months. Seems to be getting a bit rushed now, the friendly welcome seems to have gone. Food was OK but a couple of the tapas were luke warm. Didn't complain but will give it another try in a few months just to see if any improvement.
Food was very good but service disappointing.Over an hour from sitting down till we received our Tapas.Would recommend to avoid weekend to get a better service.
This was the second time we have been to Amantia and had great food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The tapas portions are reasonably priced for the quality and sharing half a dozen works well.
The food and service were both very good. We thought the tapas was better than what we've had in Spain! Can't wait to go again.
Excellent, authentic food served quickly and with a smile. Good value too. have eaten here on a few occasions and will definitely be back for more.
nice food and friendly staff very enjoyable. ideally located near the german market and new street station. so I would book again and bring the family
Absolutely fabulous! Food was amazing, staff were attentive and friendly, atmosphere was relaxed. We were celebrating a birthday and everyone had a great time! Would highly recommend. Try the aubergine chips - they are incredible.
This was our first visit to the restaurant although. Good atmosphere, excellent service and tasty food. Good experience... I’ll be back for sure! Give a try ;-)
Waiter was a bit pushy on the drinks, deep fried blue cheese and spinach?nice but not hot enough. Needs a longer cook for safety? yes
Really enjoyed eating there. We both shared tapas menu - excellent choice and freshly cooked food. Service was very good as well. The restaurant was fresh and clean
Really great experience as ever and the food was top notch. This is our favourite restaurant because the staff look after you and offer sound advice on wine and food options
I booked a table for a work meal with colleagues up from London. We all agreed that the service, restaurant and quality of the food was amazing. "Best tapas I have ever eaten" was the comment from a London colleague. Larger portions and fabulous variety of tapas. We will definitely be back.
The food was nice & atmosphere was great. Never disappointed. Will go back again
Great food and friendly staff, overall a very pleasant experience (By the way the noisy atmosphere was great) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
We had a very enjoyable meal - I especially liked the carillada. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be visiting again.
We all enjoyed the food and wine. The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend this place especially for small groups.
Recommended by friend of friend. Nice decor. We arrived as a table of three, having booked for four and were led to a table for three which was in a great position. Staff charming. Sangria had too much lemonade in it, after letting staff know, our second jug contained more wine. Something I don't think we should have had to mention! Tapas were stunning, mushroom croquettes, galician octopus, spicy chorizo in Rioja sauce, calamari average but ali-oli superb, catalan bread with tomato, garlic and additional serrano was lovely and the beef fillet in sherry sauce very tender. We then shared the paella - arroz negro with squid. This lacked flavour and we've had much better elsewhere. Good to try somewhere new. We may go back....
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. What more do you want? Food was delicious - a real joy and great for a group of friends to enjoy in such convivial surroundings.
Fabulous time, very enjoyable food and wine, and a very nice relaxed atmosphere. So good we were the last ones to leave! Great time and we will be back soon.
Very tasty food, friendly service, portions just the right siz - a pleasant. Early evening meal. The octopus was particularly tasty so I highly recommend it.
Amantia’s is lovely traditional Spanish tapas but in a really nice modern restaurant. The service was quick and the food extremely tasty. Wound like to go on a night when the traditional flamenco is on
Great ambiance. Tapas starters excellent. Chose a paella this time but rather disappointed by its blandness. Just a bit uninspiring. Would recommend the mains rather than the paellas.
The food was good, the service was good and a fantastic magician on the night. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends ! !
Excellent evening, delicious freshly cooked food and great service. Waiter very helpful and as it was our first visit suggested items from the menu. Will definitely return.
Really enjoyed our visit. Made us vey welcome. From the olives to the dessert everything was delicious. Portion sizes good, 3 dishes shared between 2 people seemed to work.
