There’s no shortage of great Indian food in London, and while it’s a delicious cuisine, just like any with any other, it can lose its appeal. That’s where Anjanaas steps in. Presenting diners with some of the finest South Indian and North Indian cuisine in all of Kilburn, it’s a refreshing change from the usual, featuring all of your favourites, but prepared with a modern twist. Revitalise your taste buds and stimulate your senses with a visit to Anjanaas on Willesden Lane.
The food as always was simply WONDERFUL but the service was the worst I have ever experienced in 67 years! There were five of us in my party. We ordered seven dishes and waited for about an hour for the food, with no hint of an apology or even any acknowledgement of the amount time we had waited. There were only six other people in the restaurant. The waiter and waitress spend most of their time on the phone taking down takeaway orders. It seemed that they had been told to prioritise takeaway orders over in-house customers. I think they need to decide if they are a restaurant or a takeaway. They patiently can't effectively function as both. I was take out for a meal by four close friends for my 67th birthday and the awful service certainly put a damper on the occasion. Despite the most BEAUTIFUL food I will not be going to this restaurant again but I might well order a takeaway!!!
The food here is absolutely beautiful and truly tastes home made. This is greatly enhanced by the very friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Delicious family run Indian just off the Kilburn High Road. Fresh food, not dripping with fat like so many other places. Flat onion baji really tasty, and the fish curries excellent. Will come back.
