Excellent food and service. Beautiful place. Waiter very calm, very considerate , polite and smiley. Really enjoyed our lunch and very reasonably prices. Will definitely return.

Fantastic food. Great service. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. Ordered Steak which was cooked to perfection. Pizza my partner had was also amazing.

It always has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are friendly but not over the top. We discovered a lovely wine that we'd never had before, delicious food. Great dining experience.

Excellant all round. From entering to a warm welcome and even when there was a discrepancy with the bill nothing was a bother. Try and see for yourselves what fab food is being served.

As always, excellent food - tried the restaurant week menu and the stroganoff was delicious, amazing staff - Antonio and his team are always attentive and provide a friendly and efficient service and the Nero D'avola is a great wine.

Lovely cosy restaurant. Excellent food . Waiters very attentive and knowledgable both about food on menu and wine. This was our first visit, we went with friends who also enjoyed it - we will definitely be going again.

Really enjoyed our visit to Antico. Very nice food, good service and very friendly staff. The restaurant interior is smart and the location is good on Osborne road making it easy to go for a drink in the nearby bars both before and after our meal.

Great food and friendly staff. My only criticism was the service was slow. But it was very busy and the waiters were very apologetic. This wouldn’t put me off going again.

Love going to antico, the food is good, the ambience is great and above all the staff are fantastic. We are always made to feel special. We'll be back soon

This restaurant is excellent. Presentation and quality of the food is superb and the staff are always welcoming. Occasionally the owner, Antonio throws in a few clever and amusing magic tricks for free!

What a brilliant restraunt food drink and service all 5 star. This restruant is not to be missed. We traveled from leeds to newcastle on the train to have a sunday afternoon out we couls of gone anywhere but it had to be Antico!!

This is a friendly, hospitable restaurant in a lively part of Jesmond, popular both with local residents and those from further afield. The basically Anglo-Italian menu offers a wide range of dishes, including fish and vegetarian options. Eating there is a pleasurable experience, both for single diners and those in larger groups.

Antico is small restaurant, with a cosy atmosphere and a warm welcome. The service is prompt and efficient and the menu is varied. The quality of the food is excellent. Well worth a visit.

I went on a Monday evening, usually a slow time - very attentive service from the wait staff, but this was exactly the same as my previous visit several months ago on a much busier day. Food was good and I was very pleased with the recommendations from the waitress, I would definitely go back for an evening out.

Staff are friendly and food is wonderful. I ordered skewered tuna and prawns. Tuna was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. For the main course I had a lamb each with pasta, very tasty and very filling.

Great food, friendly service. Love the cosy interior. Pasta was perfect. Good Italian home cooking done well. Like going to your Italian mates mums place. If I could fault one thing it's they should have more wine available by the glass but that splitting hairs really. I will be back again soon

Ecxcelent value. The food was fantastic and the staff were very accommodating. Their Yorkshire Puddings are some of the best I've had and the lamb was unbelievable. I would definitely recommend and will be returning again soon.

Second time we have been to this place. The first time it was excellent but this time it was very poor. Slow delivery and poor quality food.

Great food and service too. Excellent value especially in happy hour. Particularly loved the king prawns, roast vegetable which was served with main course and the chocolate brownie. Will be back I'm certain.

We had a lovely lunch however very little atmosphere Food excellent but there was only a la carte menu and no Sunday lunch with Yorkshire puddings They may get more people in on a Sunday if they offered a traditional Sunday lunch alongside the a la carte menu

Great classy restaurant, great food, great staff, straight up honesty about availability menu choices & their menu preferences which we noted for dessert. Wines & spirits are good. Also accommodating when we had last minute changes in numbers going up. Every member enjoyed themselves & thought great choice of restaurant. We will definitely book again!

To small not a couples place crammed in like sardines you can hear everybody's conversation and you would be unable to enjoy your meal as it has an un relaxed feel to the place trying to cram to many covers in we left feeling we where an inconvenience.

The food was lovely but the service was well below average unfortunately. Many different waitresses and waiters served us. When the main course arrived it was just shoved in front of us with no offer of black pepper or parmasen never mind if we'd like anything else. We didn't once get asked how are food was or if we'd like more drinks etc and trying to catch their attention wasn't easy. The table behind us were clearly regulars as they were given great attention all night whilst we were pretty much ignored. Despite all this the food was suprisingly good.
