A pleasant evening friendly and helpful staff with a nice atmosphere. We would definetely add this restaurant to our list to revisit when we are next in town.

Good food, but the waiters were inattentive and the bench seats uncomfortable. Not cheap, but reasonably good value, and some unusual items on the menu.

Always a fabulous time at Antico. Staff are brilliant and the food is incredible. There is not a bad word to say about this place.nwould highly reccommend.

Fantastic from start to finish . Food was quality . Salted Caramel cheesecake finished off the meal superbly and the staff were very friendly and helpful . Will definitely be back .

Excellent restaurant in every respect, I was in this Sunday and the whole table thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were very attentive throughout the afternoon.

This is one of the outstanding restaurants in the North East. The food is of the highest standard and service is infallibly warm and friendly.

The food and service were very good, and the three of us were able to talk comfortably, which was very important. The atmosphere was relaxed and civilised.

This restaurant is always welcoming, comfortable and divine food. We have been on numerous occasions and are never let down. No matter how busy they are the staff are always friendly, attentive and efficient.

Amazing. Potato skins amazing with a generous portion of garlic sauce. Bolognese amazing although cooled very quickly. Brownie was amazing although a little small for us Chocolate lovers. My friend had a pizza which are stonebaked look amazing but she had trouble cutting through it even with a steak knife - not everybodies cup of tea. Waiters attentive and brilliant atomsphere. I've been three times since I discovered this gem a few months ago. Totally recommend, my mouth is watering writing about the food!

Would have been better going with a friend rather than alone as I was. Food not bad, had the classic pasta bolognese, done well but not spectacular. Nice ambience. Will go again to try other stuff.

We have been three times and always have fillet steak cooked medium rare and it is consistently excellent, as is the service and the homemade cheesecake and tiramisu.

Great local Italian. Fast service, good wine list and delicious food. I really liked the wine list and they have a lovely outdoor seating section. Looking forward to coming back when the weather is nice and checking that out. Food was delicious and generous portions. Will be back again for sure

Have not been here before but had read good reviews. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was good and had several different Vegetarian options which was good. We all enjoyed our food and will be back

We had to wait for 45 min to get a table although we had booked it, nevertheless the staff was very kind and gave us an extra starter free of charge. The food was great as well as the atmosphere.

This is a cracking little Italian Restaurant where the ambience,food and service are first class! I have been here many times and have never had a disappointing experience.

Loved every minute! Good food, great atmosphere! The garlic mushrooms were a delight and the fillet steak super tasty! Both me and my beautiful wife really enjoyed the desert. The cheese cake was the best we've ever tasted. Would definitely come again!

Good pizza good price, great atmosphere, although some more pizza topping options would have been good!! Chocolate cake was very good very chocolaty but not too rich

Another tasty meal at Antico! We were a group of 4 and our friends don't live locally but enjoyed our last visit to Antico so had requested that we visit the same restaurant. Staff were really attentive and there was no rush for us to leave after we had finished eating.

One of our regular haunts and as always great service and great food. Have some excellent wines, that are not always on the menu, just ask.

We have been to Antico a few times, we have always found the staff very friendly and helpful, the service is good and the food is wonderful.

I wentto this restaurant to celebrate my daughters 18th, i was a little concerned it bei g a restaurant i had never been to in the past, but ineed not have worried, the meal was amazing and the staff so attentive, i would highly recomend, it was not expensive either,for a 3course meal with drinks for three peoplethe bill was £77, which i dont think is bad, i would deffinately go back.:-)

Very friendly staff.... fantastic starter (king prawn risotto) not so keen on the main course (lamb ragout) ..... Would go again !! Give it a try!
