Further Information

Tuesday through Thursday sees Apollo pulling out the midweek menus on Seven Sisters Road for lunches and dinners characterised by the distinctive Greek Cypriot take on Mediterranean food. Classic starters like kalamaraki, taramosalata, tzatziki, houmous, loukanika, lounza, and basturma are just the beginning; this Finsbury Park hotspot also does a great line in fresh fish, with the deep fried kalamaraki a highlight. Traditional Greek dishes like moussaka, kleftiko, stifado and lamb souvla compete with Apollo’s charcoal brazier specials for your attention, while Apollo’s extra-specialties include this north London restaurant’s signature prawns in a Cognac-infused garlic butter, parsley and cream sauce.

No proper Greek Cypriot banquet would be complete without a glass of Greek wine, and here Apollo shines, with a selection of Greek vintages including St Panteleimon, Aphrodite, Othello and Makedonikos serving to complement the Mediterranean cuisine on offer. Round off your meal at north London’s finest Cypriot restaurant with a classic Greek coffee, and prepare yourself for an evening of live entertainment as this Seven Sisters Road transforms into a heaving dancefloor when Friday and Saturday night rolls around. Located close to Finsbury Park and Arsenal stations (and the Emirates Stadium), this Holloway restaurant is a popular spot – book to ensure you get to experience this fine example of the Greek Cypriot taverna life.

Great food and service. Despite the restaurant being full, every dish was cooked perfectly. Servic was attentive. Also, we turned up as a group of 7 rather than 6 and the owner managed to switch tables around to accommodate us. Restaurant has a good atmosphere. Would recommend.

This is a friendly and family run restaurant. We were very pleased with the service and the food was good. However was a bit disappointed with the vegetarian options especially the veggie platter. It could have done with a bit more halloumi and also more portion of the spanakopitta.

Staff were very welcoming when we arrived. The booking was for a party of 24 people and they were very accommodating. Food was great. Atmosphere even better!

Great service. Loads of really authentic, tasty Greek food. The meze is particularly good value with 3 courses each filled with many different delicious dishes
