Good food, good atmosphere. Latvian waiter slightly rude and too self confident when talking to customers, but in general this does not worsen impression about the restaurant

Great restaurant, food and service. Proper freshly home- made meals in combination with delucious wines! You will keep talking about this place weeks after the visit

Friendly and helpful staff, food very good, extremely generous portions, just too full to fit in a desert. Well worth visiting. Booths a little on the small size, better to get a table in main dining area.

Lovely evening in a very relaxed atmosphere, the staff were very helpful and friendly, without being too 'present'. The food was beautifully cooked, full of flavour and reasonably priced.

Fabulous food, especially vegetarian sharing platter. Staff could not be more helpful or friendly, When one of us became ill they did all they could to support.

It was Ok and the staff are friendly and helpful. The main vegetarian options were not particularly interesting - a better option would be a selection of starters (i.e. mezze) but the pre-selected plates are described as banquets and expensive. The wines, although unfamiliar (from Georgia and Armenia) are excellent. It is a reasonably quiet venue which was why we chose it as we were entertaining overseas visitors.

I went with a group and we all loved it. The food was lovely, everything was really tasty. Recommend the sharing platters to start. The Armenian wine is worth trying. The waiter was really helpful with our selection. The staff were great, very accommodating. Have only every heard good things about the restaurant and will be returning.

We absolutely loved our meal here last night. The Kachipuri bread and pickles to start were amazing. I wasn't quite as fussed on the Beef ribs though i still enjoyed the meal, however my boyfriends Goulash was delicious. We ordered a red and a white wine by the glass and they were amazing, I'd definitely recommend a dry Armenian wine. Service was also lovely. Definitely recommend this place.

Excellent service and food freshly cooked. We enjoyed a starter that we shared between two. The main we had the Armenian kebab and it was well cooked and spiced but not in a hot way.

The Armenian Taverna was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would totally recommend an evening at this restaurant for something a little bit different. My only criticism is the noise level. With everyone talking, it did feel like I had to shout a bit. And then as there is someone playing the piano, people then talk louder to hear themselves over the music. Probably not something that can be easily solved, but just something to bear in mind. Also, would be a more authentic experience if the piano player would play something Armenian! :-)

This was really a nice evening we had yesterday with 10 people in the Armenian Taverna! The food was good and the drinks anyway (wine, cognac). The staff is friendly and accommodating; all in all a very nice experience! Thank you for this and see you next time. Frank Kiwitt

We have been served starter without drinks , after we finished eating starter drinks were on the table. I found this very strange. Otherwise the food was nice.

The staff were very helpful in explaining dishes and giving recommendations, and the food was very tasty. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to try something a little bit different from the usual restaurant choices, as it has a great variety of dishes and drinks.

Food and facilities were good. Service was outrageous because of our waiter. He could not hide his emotions, was angry with our children playing around their own table. He snapped to them ( restaurant was quiet and empty in the daytime) and we had to step in and sent him away. I'd not even think to leave the tips after that but shame restaurant has automatic app on tips for parties over 6 people. Shame!!! Lovely place, authentic, delicious meat but wrong service from quite short guy with black curly hair. He should be fired because clearly he can not hold his emotions. Not for this type of job where people always around. Not child friendly this place

Delicious food, outstanding service, this is definitely one of the best restaurants in Manchester! I would recommend the Yerevan katchapuri to start and the dish served with a shot of vodka for your main, followed by honey cake, an Armenian coffee and an Ararat brandy. Pure perfection!
