Friendly and good food. Slightly cramped with 6 people but didn’t spoil meal.

Great garlic bread with chilli fresh hot and tasty. Main courses of Pasta Marinara and Pollo Diavolo were good -substantial portions with excellent ingredients Service was also good However, the room was very crowded with too many tables.We could have easily participated in the conversations on the adjoining tables and both staff and customers were squeezing past us

Another good value delicious meal at our favourite restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive and the menu has some new delicious meals added to it

A very busy little restaurant cosy atmosphere but the food and service lets it down a bit we had to ask twice for a jug of water for the table although the staff are friendly and they weren't that efficient the food was very bland although well presented

Lovely little restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the service is very good. The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. I would reccomend the Calzone Como and the potato skins. The Prices are very reasonable too.

Super friendly, great food, doesn't break the bank and a really nice atmosphere. I had the Parma Ham and Fig pizza and it was super tasty. The girlfriend had a calzone and she said it was nice too. We will definitely be back!

Chips were very soggy but otherwise food was good and had a nice evening. Also hand drier in toilet didn’t work very well. Staff pleasant as usual. Will be back!

Great little restaurant. The staff are happy and welcoming with a great value menu. Parking is sometimes difficult but West Jesmond Metro Station is just up the road.

on this occasion the food was below the normal standards the staff and atmosphere was as usual fabulous but the food was very dry. We did mention it and the lady advised us that the normal chef was off ill and they had a replacement chef. We will still be returning as we have never been disappointed in the past.

We recieved a voucher for Christmas so decided to use it on Saturday evening. What a lovely little Italian restaurant, great atmosphere, friendly staff and beautiful food. Will definitely return with the family soon.

Probably my favourite Italian restaurant bar none! Fantastic food and wine, great service and real Italian ambience! Would heartily recommend to anyone! Pasta Picante is a must as is the Calamari!

We went during happy hour and the prices offered good value. The service was really good if a little slow at first. Overall though highly recommended!!

The table was ready on time. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The food was excellent. There were four of us and we were all completely satisfied.

Really lovely little restaurant. Small, intimate space but very good food and very reasonably priced. They did get our order wrong and I was a little upset that they just didn't take our word for it but checked with the kitchen. They had got it wrong and were happy to put it right but disappointing nonetheless.

Love this restaurant staff and food However my favourite has gone from menu our table in the corner was a bit cramped and dark we had use our mobile phones to read the menu Also seemed a bit short staffed

Avanti serves great food at a reasonable price and has a busy but cosy atmosphere. The service is friendly and the complimentary liqueur a nice treat at the end of the meal.

I go to Avantis quite a lot. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Food is great and a lovely atmosphere. Will keep on going. Good choices ve on happy hour menu.

Excellent meal which was good value for money. Our hosts made us feel most welcome. Restaurant is slightly tucked away from main area of Jesmond but well worth a visit (convenient for Metro station)
