Excellent polite service at all times. Well presented food, superb favours. Enjoyed the momos exactly as I remembered from my days spent in Nepal. I also had the Spinage Pork as described on the menu which brought back wonderful memories of my time serving with my Gurkha friends in Hong Kong and Nepal. I would certainly recommend Avatar to anyone wanting well cooked quality food from Nepal and India.

Another fantastic meal at Avatar. The service is excellent. Food is great quality and value. The restaurant is always busy, with warm welcoming decor and a great atmosphere. This is our number one choice for a curry in Shrewsbury town centre and we wholeheartedly recommend.

Friendly staff, delicious food, but the waiting time was too long (it was half empty of people but lots of serving staff) - 45 mins for the starter, then another half hour for the main. Starter pakora was 3 tiny pieces, and beware of raw whole green chilli in the jalfrezi, which almost ruined the whole meal (and I'm tolerant to a lot of chilli!).

Absolutely fabulous great food and service. It was really busy with Christmas parties but nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend this place

We had a fantastic experience here. Service was excellent throughout our meal. Food was beautifully presented, on lovely crockery, very tasty and plentiful in size. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. It is very noisy here, as it’s so popular, but that adds to the atmosphere.

Such an incredible meal from start to finish! So fresh and the meat was so tender. Highly recommend the duck starter the flavours were amazing. The staff were very attentive and friendly also. Definitely worth a visit.

Clean bright restaurant,staff very attentive when we first got there however restaurant filled up very quickly didn't seem to have enough staff on to cater for people there it was very very loud in the restaurant its self. Food was average had to wait easily 30 minutes between each course.
