Fab service, great food. Went downstairs to the cellar wine bar too, new dj, great music, disco, funk. Wasn't busy but good to dance and love the new cocktails.
Absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. The atmosphere was lovely and the smell of baked goods when you walked in was incredible. Can't wait to go back.
We have been a few times for Sunday lunch and it has always been lovely. I love the fact your veg comes in little dishes with your Sunday roast. However when we went today we took some family with us the service was slow we had to keep asking for drinks and to order. The veg apart from the potatoes didn't come in the lovely little dishes, the cream broccoli had no cream with it and the pudding was a bit of a let down. Didn't have ice cream with it when it said it came with it. Not the best of experiences this time!
We had the 2 boards and a bottle of wine for £25 - excellent value. The food was delicious and I am looking forward to returning. The staff were friendly and service was very quick.
Really do just love this place. Excellent food, great atmosphere and quality service. Had intended to eat and then move on but ended up staying for the rest of the evening with some great cocktails.
Loved the good and ambiance of the Bakerie the bar tender produced some fabulous find for us his attention to detail was spot on. Would definitely go back.
The food was lovely and service fantastic. The only thing was the limited selection of real ale...... but the amazing fresh bread made up for it!
Went Sunday Roast & it was very tasty, the best one I've had in a restaurant for ages. You choose 3 items meat/veg from the menu to go with potatoes , Yorkshire & gravy (& can pay for extra too if hungry). The beef I had was delicious - pink, tasty & nicely cooked. The portion sizes good & service was spot on (it was quiet though). Also had a good pint of cask ale & nice glass of wine. A great experience overall.
Lovely food and reasonably priced. But considering they weren't as busy as previous visits, the wait between finishing the meal and getting the bill was too long.
Not much atmosphere for a Friday night. Server informed me when all food was brought that one dish was unavailable. All in all nice but nothing special anymore. Their glory days feel over sadly.
Great bread (obviously), definitely recommend the focaccia. fab vegan options and friendly staff! Took the whole family and it was ideal for a Saturday lunch.
We both had the seafood board but with different fish, it was delicious. The breads are so fresh and tasty. Service was fantastic and a lovely atmosphere will definitely be going back
Great restaurant in the centre of the Northern Quarter. Go here for tasty boards, bread and stews. We always have great service and the selection of drinks is also very good.
We had a great night. The staff were really lovely, helpful and friendly, and the food was great. We will most definitely be back soon.
Gorgeous food. Shared the boards between 5. Really good value for money. Great Service and lovely atmosphere. Never fails to impress!! Great afternoon with a group of friends.
Dinner and wine on a Saturday night. Perfect cosy venue, lovely ambiance. The food is delicious, and especially the bread which is their signature and is incredible. So incredible we opted for more bread instead of dessert! The service was friendly and quick.
Food is lovely! Great atmosphere. Staff were a little bit disinterested but apart from that a lovely night. Will definitely go back would like to see the cellar bar.
Sunday board was excellent, the nut roast in particular stood out. Service understandably slowed a bit as the afternoon went on and it suddenly got busy however.
The food was nice, but the staff were not very attentive. I struggled to understand how I needed to or the sunday roast.it wasn't easy to under stand, as the waitress didn't make it clear.was disapointed with the over all experience
Service was good, drinks were good, my food order was average. 2 out of 3 staff we had contact with were very nice. 1 could have been friendlier.
Fantastic service. Scrumptious food. Really great time thanks everyone for being so great at bakerie. Goats cheese in particular was delicious and an amazing deal had by all
A Great Atmosphere. A Lovely Sunday Roast. A Nice bottle of red wine. Who could ask for more. We Will definitely return to the Bakerie
The Monday/Tuesday deal of two boards and a house bottle is such good value! We particularly enjoyed the chorizo. Good service considering how limited FOH seemed to be that night.
Flavoursome and filling food in a warm and relaxing environment. Plenty of options including those for vegetarians/vegans. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Would easily and happily recommend to all
We really enjoyed the experience. Restaurant is very chilled, with helpful and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we wanted. We had the meat board which was perfect. I liked the fact you could choose your meats and as you'd expect the bread was great....particularly enjoyed the walnut granary. Good selection of wine. We will go back next time in Manchester.
Great atmosphere, amazing food and drinks. Took friends and they were all really pleased with our choice. Would definitely recommend and would visit again soon.
Good, slightly cold but the food was very good and so was the environment and service, good wine selection available and good portion sizes available
I was not very satisfied with this visit to Bakerie as one of the soups of the day was not ready and the one item off the menu that I really wanted was not available either. We were booked in at 1pm so you would expect all food to be ready and nothing to have yet run out.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service, what more could you ask for. The online was easy and I appreciated the reminders, they were a great help
Always a great experience. Food great, and love the wine jukebox!! Staff are always really friendly and helpful, particularly with any wine recommendations from the wine jukebox.
One of the best roasts in Manchester hands down - love the concept of designing your dinner off the menu. Top marks & will be back again soon
Very friendly and professional service. Food was served fresh and quickly, could not fault service. If you want to go somewhere different, this is the place to go.
We had the vegan board and it was delicious! Service was great, very attentitive but not over the top. I will certainly return and recommend it.
We had the Sunday Roast - The food was all homemade and was fresh, tasty and good value. The staff were helpful and there was a good choice on the menu. We will definitely return.
Food ,service ,atmosphere could not be faulted and we will return The bread lives up the expectations as the name would suggest and refurb did not impact on us at all
Fantastic restaurant. The staff were extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly and both the food and wine were delicious, although the lamb burger is slightly spicier than expected!
A wonderful place with friendly attentive staff, a fantastic varied menu and a lovely ambience! Lots of choice for all dietary requirements, which can be hard to find!
Staff were super friendly and so helpful, couldn't do enough for us...as we needed some local knowledge. However we were disappointed with the meals. We were asked if everything is ok but chose not to remark in a negative way to not to ruin our evening. Again the young staff were great.
Great place for wine and a relaxing meal. Throughly enjoyed our food. Small menu but still plenty to choose from. Highly recommend a visit here.
Waitress didn't understand one of my friends request to have their food one one plate they have been before and found it difficult being partially sighted and found it easier eating everything on one plate Other than that the food was brilliant
Great Sunday lunch, you chose 3 items from the menu, the meat which comes with gravy, spuds and yorkshire pudding. And then two vegetables, the creamy leeks are yummy!
Great food, 23 had the vegetsrian board and the cheese board which ended up being more than enough between two of us. Ten out of ten
Lovely restaurant/bar that I have never been to before. Staff were really friendly and helpful and more importantly the food was really good. Well presented and reasonably priced. Also as my husband is vegan he was really impressed with the options available and on that alone I'm sure we will make a return visit.
Food was very good and value for money, service was good and the staff very pleasant.Although we are not 21 anymore we felt there was a really good mix of diners and felt really welcome.
Staff were as friendly (as usual), food was incredible (as usual), and it was all very good value for money (as usual)! We weren't on the wine on this occasion, but the total dining experience was brill. Bakerie really is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester.
The bakerie boards are delicious, as is the wine. We got 1 board between 2 people with some extra bread and some potato wedges, it was plenty of food and good value! But it's mostly about the wine. Only negative was that it was so very warm, which stopped us from staying longer.
Attended on a date and found the food really nice, staff were a little impatient but over all I enjoyed my visit to bakerie! 4 stars!
Nice atmosphere, very relaxed. Food was nice and interesting. Great to see certain elements sourced locally in the UK, including Houlloumi from Huddersfield. Gin & Tonic was massive!
The options were really great but the portions were a little small. Other than that we were very happy with the food and atmosphere. Thanks.
The food wasn't the usual standard, but it was a very busy and Father's day. The staff were great though and offered to exchange my father's meal as he thought the beef was too tough and chewy.
