Gorgeous Sunday roast. Great sized portions and really well cooked. Would have preferred 3 veg options as standard (rather than 2), but that’s a very small niggle.
The food was over priced for the sharing boards and you couldn't mix & match. Service wasn't very good, we noticed that another couple had to chase down the waitress for their bill and we had to chase her for another bottle of wine. The wine that we had was excellent.
Lovely Sunday roast with my friends, lots of choice and good quality meat for a small price. Wine was good too and it wasn't too busy. Would return again very soon!
Delicious Sunday roast and wine. Shame the music was a little bit too loud making conversation difficult, and I felt the service could have been slightly more attentive. Would definitely go back though.
Lovely food as usual. Really rate the wine here too. Fast service and friendly waitress. Warm and cosy atmosphere, not really anything I can fault!
I love Bakerie! They have changed the roast menu and it's not as good as it used to be. They no longer do roast potatoes (mash instead) and you can only choose 1 meat and 2 veg. You used to be able to choose any 5 items! No longer my fave place on a Sunday :(
Service was a little slow but very friendly overall. Do like the Sunday roasts there. Would prefer a choice between mash and roast potatoes. Got given mash.
Fantastic service, thank you. Good value and choice of platters. Great wine selection. Perfect evening (And you would like me to write more words here in order to post my review).
A very enjoyable afternoon. Excellent food & atmosphere. Roast dinner was 1st class Service was impeccable. I will definitely be returning to Bakerie. Thanks Guys.
Nice welcome, good service. We had 2 sharing boards plus mixed wedges. All fwaood was fab; included selection of breads. Wanted to visit here for some time; not disappointed.
Really nice atmosphere, great food, friendly staff - food is delicious and great value, will definitely return. Love their 2 for £10 cocktail deal as well!
Really great food and wine with a relaxed atmosphere. We shared a fish and a vegan board, everything was delicious. Really good value. Pudding tipped us over the edge because it was huge!
The food was gorgeous, I just felt they needed an extra body to help the girls on the floor. From us sitting down it took 20mins to be offered a drink and food, but then the food came out before the drinks got to our table. Strange. Couldn't fault the food and couldn't fault the portions.
First time there. Great, relaxed atmosphere. Good food and drink, attentive service. Value for money and in good location. We'll be back hopefully very soon.
Nice atmosphere with welcoming staff. It was busy on a Friday night, but we were able to move tables when requested. The selection boards were great.
Would have been a six only they had no nut roast left and the only alternative was a falafal bake! Falafal with a Sunday Roast wasn't ideal! Other than the food and service was marvelous!
Great service, think a little more flexibility on the mix you can have on your board. I wasn’t allowed meat and cheese together - had to be one or the other. Thanks
One of the best Sunday roasts in town! Great friendly service, delicious food and lovely restaurant, good value for money - will definitely go back.
Cosy atmosphere, nice food, only thing was they had ran out of the dessert I wanted?but it must b pretty good! The cheese and wine looked good too, didn’t try the cheese but the wine was nice.

Polite, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing range of drinks (including vegan wines labelled as so on the menu). The food was very good, with a good choice for those who don't eat meat.
I adore this place, been here a few times now however never fails to disappoint. Myself and my wife had a cheese board (best in Manchester) which is just incredible with a lovely bottle of malbec. Food is great, staff is great, everything great. Much love.
Was expecting a casual, relaxed wine bar with bread, nibbles and sharing plates but this is more formal. The food wasn't too bad but the surroundings felt a bit sterile with very little atmosphere. Very cold too. Cellar bar was also closed. Probably wouldn't go back. Nice staff though.
good!! we really enjoyed our dinner and the service :) i hope to enjoy Bakerie cheese board any time soon. Muchas Gracias. Good position. Thanks
My partner and I popped in on a Tuesday before the comedy night round the corner. We chose the two boards and wine.My board (vegan) looked good, however on tucking into the mushrooms I was horrified to be eating a mouthful of hard grit and mud! I rushed to the ladies and had to rinse my mouth 7/8 times. Needless to say it put me off my food. On telling our server, we were offered 10% off our meal ! We paid the full price anyway. Really disappointed.
Disappointing Sunday lunch. Not nearly as good as on last visit. Veg was cold and had to be sent back and there were no roast potatoes.
The service was slow, menus didn't have many choices and the food was OK I guess. Shame cos I'd been before and it was better.
The restaurant itself is nice but we seemed to wait a long time for our food to arrive. The seafood and charcuterie sharing boards were nice and good value for money. The bread was a little disappointing, it was mostly soft white bread with a few different additions (sundried tomatoes, olives) but had little taste. The service was very good, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Nice beer and food and the waiting staff were all very attentive and efficient to our needs without being overbearing bearing. Nice place to visit
Had a lovely evening at Bakerie. 3 of us shared different starters, all good then had blue cheese risotto ( too big a helping) beef and wine casserole gorgeous and ratatouille also good. Latter was a bit lukewarm but it was changed without any trouble and a fresh dish brought out. Good bottle of red wine and all very reasonably priced. After dinner popped next door to Pie &Ale where beer was pronounced to be excellent
Great service and food was really nice and appeared quickly, the boards idea is quite different and worked well. Ambience in the restaurant was good
very good food, very nice atmosphere, excellent bread.
EXCELLENT FOOD EXEMPLARY SERVICE We had two platters, one fish and one cheese, both were fantastic. Took recommendations from our delightful Portuguese waitress who was articulate, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fish: "Anchovies" (lightly pickled - boquerones en vinagre) and "Seared Tuna". Cheese: "Blue Monday" and "Snowdonia Green Dragon". Will return as soon as is practicable.
Good food ,excellent customer service . Will definitely be returning . Average prices . Excellent ham and cheese open toastie. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing
Good food with freshly made bread and a nice choice of cheese etc for the platters, some interesting cocktails and friendly staff. Loved coming here with my family to celebrate my birthday.
Portions were a bit small and the various types of bread provided were a disappointment and were not up to the standard of other local bakers such as Pollen and Campanio. We also felt we were overcharged by about £10 on our bill for 4 adults and a child. Finally, we couldn't connect with the restaurant's WiFi - something that would have helped us to access the internet and find some video feeds to keep the cild amused. Service was friendly
Lovely food. There were plenty of vegan options to choose from and the staff were so friendly. Didn't feel rushed to leave will definitely go back.
The second time my girlfriends and I have spent a lovely, leisurely. Saturday afternoon enjoying a range of Bakerie's gorgeous mains and desserts. The service is friendly and super efficient and you never feel rushed.
Wonderful food and service. We went at 5pm on Wednesday and the restaurant was nice and quiet, the waitress was very attentive but still gave us our space to enjoy our meal. House rose wine is also very nice.
Gorgeous food but extremely slow unnatentive staff. We were in the restauarant for 3 hours even though it was quiet. No one asked how our food was, if we wanted dessert or more drinks. A shame as the quality and taste of the food was delicious. Will think twice before returning!
