Really nice interior and relaxed atmosphere. Very good drinks menu and the platter was also very nice, although some more diversity in the bread selection would have been good, given its namesake (only received normal white/brown).

If you need to park then leave extra time as it’s mainly on street meters and not a lot of options. We went mid week. Inside it’s a nice environment and a busy atmosphere. My criticism would be small mains and they didn’t have the chicken wings and an expensive pint of Guinness.

Great selection of sharing boards and great wine selection. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Mixed clientele of couples, groups and families made for a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere

We arrived rather early and that was fine and we took a table. The food, wine and service was good all round and I’d visit again.

Sharing deli boards and wine were both amazing. The service was a little slow but they may have been waiting for our entire parry to arrive before taking a drinks order.

We had their delicious Sunday Lunch option. Very reasonable at £12.99 plus plenty of choice. The ice cream was also good but a small serving. The staff are very nice and attentive but not "in your face." Will definitely return.

Really good location on the edge of the Northern Quarter, this place is warm and inviting with a great atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly and served us at the table. There was a great choice of food and wine but I found the wine a little pricey (for the decent stuff). Looking forward to returning to try some different dishes.

Easy to find, relaxing atmosphere. But distinct smell of grilled/fried smell. My clothes stink of fried smell and I noticed this as soon as I walked in. There were 7 of us in our party and we all talked about it. Great place but after 2pm you did expect things. Otherwise all great 👍

This was our first visit to Bakerie. The food and wine were delicious, and the portions of stews were generous. The stews came with wedges of bread, which were good, but I would have liked to have been given the chance to choose what kind of bread I preferred. The espresso coffees were excellent. When the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bottle of wine was cheaper than shown on the menu. Apparently it was Happy Hour, but we were unaware of this when we ordered. We didn't like the high-energy music, which didn't match our need for relaxation, but at least it wasn't as loud as in some other restaurants.

You always get a lovely Sunday dinner with a good variety of things to have on your board (meat, veg and vegan options) and the service is excellent.

Excellent service and the food was great. We ordered 2 boards and there was plenty of food for the three of us. We had the Wednesday deal of 2 boards and a bottle of house wine. Highly recommended

The food was ok but the service was poor. Having to wait for 30 minutes for our plates to be moved was too long. Had to ask our server to order more drinks. Overall I was disappointed.

The atmosphere is always lovely in Bakerie but I do think they're a bit pricey. Happy hour gets you £3 off wine.... not much of a happy hour but hey. I wouldn't recommend the boards anymore, they just aren't as good as they used to be, the boards are sprinkled with salad to make them look full next to the 3 pieces of cheese you get. :| I'll stick to drinking wine there.

Warm welcome from the Staff upon entering. Nice choice of menu and would recommend the lamb stew and the salmon supreme, but could do with a greater choice of desserts as everything seemed to be chocolate based. The service was quick and efficient.

3 our out of the 4 dishes we ordered were nice, but the mussels main course was very disappointing, due to small size, quality of mussels and lack of flavour in the sauce. Service/ atmosphere were good.

Pleasant, laid back service. They were apparently ’between menus' which meant the choice of ingredients on the tasting boards was a bit restricted - but also meant they let us mix and match between the different boards, which made for a pleasant range of tastes.

We had a great time, the service was brilliant. Only slight downside was that they had run out of desserts by the time we ordered so had to go elsewhere.

Long waiting, too bright lighting. Very good fish plater but the worst seafood linguine on earth. An Italian would take it as an offence at his life and bin them. Bakerie's bread by the way is surely home made but light years behind pollen and fig & sparrow e.g. Every supermarket in France or Germany for instance sells better bread.

Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with attentive but not pushy service. Great food choices for all tastes and amazing bread!! Good wine list although I find most reds too heavy, so I was delighted to see my favourite light red Sangiovese which I prefer chilled and my request for ice was accepted without a frown.

The service was great and accommodating for my food allergy, but the roasts aren't as nice as they used to be. It was a bit cold and the nut roast was very oily and greasy more like a mild nut curry than a nut loaf!

Great place, great service, friendly staff. Very enjoyable wine & beer, the Sunday Lunch board has lots of choice & was very tasty, a bit hotter would have made it perfect for me. Much room for improvement on the coffee but that won’t stop me making a return visit. 😊

Even though we booked for 7.30pm a large number of the menu items were not available so made our choice f food very limited!! Will not be returning in a hurry. The limited choice of main course left that I was vaguely interested in was that of the feta in a filo parcel and salad. The filo was difficult to cut through and the base of it was solid rather than flaky. The person I was with, having been limited in choice due to a number of the items not being available enjoyed the 4 he had otherwise the score would have been a 1. Please be aware, the description 'large glass' of wine is correct in that the glass was large but it was only half filled!!
