Bakerie has great food and a really nice atmosphere we went on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. Will definitely go back again.

The food wasn't the usual standard, but it was a very busy and Father's day. The staff were great though and offered to exchange my father's meal as he thought the beef was too tough and chewy.

Excellent as ever. Staff very helpful, food great. Wine jukebox was a new experience, but well worth a try for something a bit different. Looking forward to the next visit.

The food was really great; we got two of Bakerie's lovely boards and a bottle of wine for £25. As a vegan, I was thrilled that they catered for me and provided a vegan board. However, the service was not great, with just one server catering for the whole restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime.

Excellent wine and sharing boards. Gluten free bread was great!

Love this place, best Sunday lunch I've ever had. Shame no Sunday roast boards anymore or it would be a six. Will definitely be back!

The food portion size and quality has in my opinion gone down for the price you pay which is a pity especially on the sharing platters

Good food, but considering that we went on a Wednesday night in April the service was pretty slow (for example it took 5 minutes for the staff to notice us and take us to a table). Nice atmosphere and good location.

A group of us visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I had the beef stew with focaccia from the lunch menu, the meat was very tender and stew was really tasty. Was a small portion but that was okay for lunch. Others in our group chose the walnut bread to go with the stew and were a bit disappointed as they got half a slice and when asked for more were told they didn't sell it as slices so they had to order a mixed bread basket- considering the Bakerie's main selling point is bread I thought this was a little strange. One of our group ordered the charcuterie board, this was overpriced at £15 for the very small portion- 3 choices of meat and the lamb kofta was tasteless, accompanying bread basket was nice. The bar is nice and barman very knowledgeable. Think we would visit agin but just for drinks.

Tasty food, nice selection of wines, warm and efficient service. Poor acoustics and loud music that's more foreground than background. So, if you hope to have a conversation with your dinner companion/s, you'll need to brush up on your lip reading.

Good food and atmosphere. Bread boards were great value. Service initially was a little slow particularly on drinks. Discount for work was a nice gesture.

We Love this place. The Menu seems to have shrunk slightly in terms of choice? Or is that just perception? Regardless, it's Still amazing food and we will be back soon.

We had booked online only about an hour before we wanted to eat and when we arrived, we were told that it might have been a bit too late. However, they managed to rustle up a table straight away. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and the food was fantastic. We had a great experience, thanks!

Whilst the food was very good, not the best value for money for a Sunday lunch. There are even better at a more competitive price elsewhere in the city

Great food and excellent service. The wine juke box is a great idea, a good way to have a sample of various different wines. Really enjoyed our visit.

Great ambience and lovely staff, with some food tastier than others, but realistically that was just wrong choice on my part. I had a truly delicious starter... Mushrooms on toast...yummy.

Always good food & setting. A little pricey but well worth it especially for a Manchester City centre. Excellent range of wines by the glass & gin.

Staff were friendly and the food was great, would have been a 6 apart from a 40 min wait for food to arrive after ordering

A rather noisy group near us made normal conversation difficult but staff were very helpful in helping us to move a little further away. Order was taken quickly, drinks took a bit longer to arrive. Food was tasty.

We were served by a new member of staff. There were a few hiccups but overall fantastic. Cosy warm atmosphere, comfort food and a fantastic gin with basil and Strawberry! Great for groups and dates. Bring your loved ones they'll love it.

We love Bakerie as a venue and have been many time. We went as a family for Sunday lunch. The meats were hot and very tasty, however the vegetables were cold! We didn't get a waitress asking how the food was until we were at least half way through the meal. I explained to the waitress that although everything was tasty, it was mostly cold. She said she would report this. When we got the bill I expected something to be taken off the bill because of the cold food. I ended up having to speak to the manager whom at first was very off with me and said I was coming across aggressive. I was merely and respectfully explaining what had taken place. This was extremely upsetting for me and my family. The manager did take 25%off the bill however I feel I should it have had to feel like I was at fault when in fact the food was and the initial reaction from the manager.

A group of 6 of us went to Bakerie on an early Saturday evening before a night out in the NQ. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived, very attentive staff. We ordered 6 of the sharing boards between us, plus a couple of extras, which was more than enough. All of the group really enjoyed the experience and I'm sure we will visit again soon.
