A wonderful restaurant, with great food and great staff. This was our first time for a family meal here and we couldn’t fault it. The staff were all fabulous with our 5 and 3 year olds and couldn’t do enough for us. It is definitely family friendly at teatime and early evening. We’ve been later on in the night as a couple too, and it was fabulous then also.

Had a lovely lunch and was very well looked after. Highly recommended!

The food was good and enjoyable. However the service was very poor. The local diners were treated far better than than anyone else. Having to wait 30 minutes after you finish your main course to get a dessert menu isn’t reallly acceptable given we had to finally ask for one!

Our meal was lovely , wine beautiful and service outstanding not rushed and served in a timely manner . Very reasonable . A wonderful evening ,thankyou

Barleo has everything you would want; a great atmosphere, fantastic staff and lovely food. We can’t wait to go back again and try more of the menu.

The staff at Bar Leo are friendly without being intrusive and the food is delicious. Bar Leo is a firm family favourite; we go there to celebrate all sorts of occasions. Any excuse!

A really good restaurant. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Food is really good, chicken stroganoff is very tasty. It’s deceptively big on the inside too, caters for all sizes of parties.

We got seated next to the bar and entrance way. It is a bit noisy and busy but the food and services was good good

Lovely food, served by friendly waiters, who were also very attentive. It was very busy, being close to Christmas, but the staff all coped admirably.

Excellent food and very hospitable team of staff. Always made to feel welcome in vibrant, authentic surroundings. Menu is large but the quality of the food is not diminished. We'll be back.

It's got a wide ranging menu and the food as really good in flavour and presentation. They have a good choice of cocktails and wine in general. They have friendly staff, it's a clean restaurant and kit's a really easy to use on line booking service.

Lovely restaurant. Staff really good nice atmosphere. Love the calzone pizza here always nice. But needs to serve beer on draught. After all it is Scotland.

Tasty food but service was slow, with only one waiter for a full restaurant plus a trainee who didn't seem to have been trained or, perhaps, was very new. Noisy and sometimes hard to maintain a conversation.

Friendly Staff, quality food excellently cooked and presented. This weeks specials were T-Bone or Red Snapper - I opted for the fish served with a sauce of capers, white wine, & Tomato - it was very tasty!

Good service and good food on a busy Friday evening. The surroundings were pleasant and the staff were friendly. My pizza Diablo was excellent as was the lasagna.

Excellent visit once again. Lunch after attending a wedding at the linlithgow church and before heading to the hotel for the evening reception. It was a great choice.

Booking was quick and simple online with quandoo and the food was delicious. Not long back from a holiday in Italy and can say the food from Barleo was as good and authentic as anything we tried in Rome. Staff were very friendly as well giving a personal touch.

Lovely food as always. Sea Bass special was delicious. Plenty of choice from main menu and good selection of wines. All four of us enjoyed everything we ate.
