Roberts birthday treat. Enjoyable experience as always. Even a free dessert for the birthday boy and a free beer. Lovely staff, lovely service. Never disappoints. Highly recommend you come and see for yourself how good it is.

Usual great service and food. Highly recommend if you are looking for a meal in the Linlithgow/ Falkirk area. Also recommended the lunch menu for a bargain bite.

Food was good when served. I asked for extra salad which never materialised. Everyone had a refreshments with desert,however, my tea never arrived. One of the waiter was not friendly at all. I was embarrassed as I took visitors with us. Really hesitate to return in the future.

Food and surroundings were very good. Restaurant was very busy and not sure if there was not enough staff which resulted in slow service and a lot of people waiting to be seated at times that they had booked for.

We had a lovely meal, good service and very pleasant atmosphere. Also affordable with good size portions. We will go back as it it a nice experience.

Excellent service and food and a great atmosphere. Within walking distance of our family’s home in Linlithgow which makes it very convenient. We always eat at Bar Leo when we are here visiting family

Great food, fab service lovely staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family, looks small from outside but surprisingly big inside. looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent meal and service. Two of the party had the veal which was delicious and the starters were generous. The waiters were great with the children. It was my mum's birthday and she had a lovely time.

The room and location are nice, as is the main floor manager. The food is more of an old school British/Italian chain restaurant than authentic Italian. Linlithgow has little in way of good restaurants despite having so many bars and cafe's. Think a smaller menu with authentic simple Italian fair would stand out and do very well, particularly with tourists.

Nice food. Long wait for food as restaurant was very busy. A bit chaotic to be honest. MD was very apologetic and offered drinks and olives as recompense.

Arrived on a busy Friday evening, happy to wait with a drink until our booked time. We were then ignored until 15 minutes after our booked time. Insufficient staff on duty, only 3 waiting on the tables and one behind the bar. We were seated for 20 minutes before someone noticed us and took our order. It then took another 30 minutes for some bread and oil to arrive - no preparation required just some organisation. When the main courses came it had been over an hour seated at the table! No apologies were offered or any acknowledgment of the very long delay. One of the mains was wrong, but we were too hungry to send it back and wait another hour. When it came time to leave the owner was chatty but was either completely unaware of the very slow, poor service or just wanted to avoid talking about it. Food was average. Would not go again.

The food was fantastic, but the restaurants staff let the evening down. The restaurant manager wasn’t attentive when taking our order, when we came to ordering our sweet, the waiter walked off when the manager asked him to following him with a birthday cake .....

Excellent & friendly service with lovely food that was served in great timing, we were never kept waiting for any course! Will be back again soon.

Very enjoyable first visit to Bar Leo on a wintry March evening. Our table had a great view of the kitchen where all appeared to be calm as many appetising-looking dishes were produced. Great Italian food & reasonably priced.

Good service, without a long wait. The veal masala was nice although a bit gluggy. The potatoes were lovely. The menu was a bit lacking with many dishes being similar to reach other. Overall it was adequate although I wouldn't rush back

Initially on arrival we were waiting for 10 minutes for one of the staff to acknowledge us, it wasn’t particularly busy. However once acknowledged the service was great. We were given a choice of tables. The waitress was prompt and polite and not too intrusive. Food was served quickly and was delicious. As it got busier there was a good atmosphere and buzz to the place. Fantastic Italian restaurant, very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely lunch. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was as always very good and their lunch deal is great value for money. Definitely coming back.

Excellent meal as always. Very attentive service and well worth a visit if you stay nearby. Bar Leo has a relatively compact menu which I think leads to consistently good food.

Food nice, atmosphere was good and service quick and polite. We only had a pasta and a pizza but what we had was nice. £35 for 2 mains and around 5 alcoholic drinks so reasonably priced.
