The food was great as always, price point spot on, and the ambience makes for a cosy evening. Always a favourite to return to again and again.

Tasty food but service was slow, with only one waiter for a full restaurant plus a trainee who didn't seem to have been trained or, perhaps, was very new. Noisy and sometimes hard to maintain a conversation.

Friendly Staff, quality food excellently cooked and presented. This weeks specials were T-Bone or Red Snapper - I opted for the fish served with a sauce of capers, white wine, & Tomato - it was very tasty!

We had a great night - friendly service, Very tasty food, Lovely atmosphere - tell them if it's your birthday! The place is always full, which says it all.

Tasty, authentic Italian food. Friendly staff and great ambiance. Would definitely recommend. In the High Street, parking near by and over the street from the railway station.

Booking was quick and simple online with quandoo and the food was delicious. Not long back from a holiday in Italy and can say the food from Barleo was as good and authentic as anything we tried in Rome. Staff were very friendly as well giving a personal touch.

Lovely food as always. Sea Bass special was delicious. Plenty of choice from main menu and good selection of wines. All four of us enjoyed everything we ate.

We had an excellent meal at Bar Leo as usual. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We were there for a birthday celebration and everyone made a fuss of the birthday girl.

The food was delicious, all cooked perfectly and service was excellent. The only reason I am saying 5 rather than 6 is my husband had chips with his main which were a bit tasteless but you don't go to an Italian restaurant to eat chips !!

As usual, the food was excellent. Service was a little slow but there were only two waiters on and the restaurant was busy, despite our visit being on a Wednesday. Bar Leo has yet to disappoint and we will be back.

Usual great service and food. Highly recommend if you are looking for a meal in the Linlithgow/ Falkirk area. Also recommended the lunch menu for a bargain bite.

Food was good when served. I asked for extra salad which never materialised. Everyone had a refreshments with desert,however, my tea never arrived. One of the waiter was not friendly at all. I was embarrassed as I took visitors with us. Really hesitate to return in the future.

Food and surroundings were very good. Restaurant was very busy and not sure if there was not enough staff which resulted in slow service and a lot of people waiting to be seated at times that they had booked for.

Excellent meal and service. Two of the party had the veal which was delicious and the starters were generous. The waiters were great with the children. It was my mum's birthday and she had a lovely time.

The room and location are nice, as is the main floor manager. The food is more of an old school British/Italian chain restaurant than authentic Italian. Linlithgow has little in way of good restaurants despite having so many bars and cafe's. Think a smaller menu with authentic simple Italian fair would stand out and do very well, particularly with tourists.

Nice food. Long wait for food as restaurant was very busy. A bit chaotic to be honest. MD was very apologetic and offered drinks and olives as recompense.

A great little Italian restaurant where the staff take that extra moment to care about you! What a rare and refreshing change! Will definitely be back.
