On this occasion We went for my sons Birthday, as usual the food was good, as was the service, considering it was a Saturday night and busy. The staff as always were friendly. I'd recommend Basmati to anyone with a love of Indian food. It is our go to Indian for sitting in or takeaway.

Great food really good portions and a fair price. Service was a little slow our drinks and bottles/glasses were not cleared once thankfully we were on a table for 4 so we moved them to the other end. once we ordered food came quickly and it was lovely.

Lovely meal with good attentive service. Nice to see the restaurant almost full, this added to the atmosphere.

Dined very early so only diners in for at least 1/2 hour although lots of takeaways being collected. Staff brilliant as was the food not too big portions but saying that we did have to bring some home! Would definitely return and recommend.
