Beirut may be a long way from Bournemouth, but at Beirut Lounge you can experience the flavours and the old world charm of the Middle East, with the authentic cuisine and traditional artefacts that adorn the wall. Start off your meal by sharing some small mezze plates like the falafel, cheese sambousek and the makanek (Lebanese fried cocktail lamb sausages with lemon juice), before moving on to a succulent shawarma sandwich, or a mouthwatering main like the mixed grill, tawayeh bil prawn (prawns cooked with tomato, onion, red and green peppers) or the veggie-friendly moussaka. Located on Old Christchurch Road, Beirut Lounge is a popular choice for a Middle Eastern feast in Bournemouth’s town centre. Book ahead to guarantee a table!
Location isn't brilliant, but the food is out of this world. We're suckers for Mediterranean food, especially Lebanese. Worth a visit, go early, always empty. If you go later, is more difficult to get a table.
Freshly cooked food. Cannot express how great it tasted, definitely a place to visit if you like Arabic food. The host was very attentive also. May Thanks, guys!!
Lovely family run restaurant, always a please to go back. Cannot praise this establishment enough. It should best on everyone's list of best places to eat in Bournemouth.
