Excellent all round .... highly recommend,service perfect all the staff very polite and attentive.The food first class and excellently presented and desserts to die for.

Went for the Tuesday Burger Night deal, no complaints there. Excellent burger, ok fries and the sauce was delicious. Staff were polite and attentive. Downside, if you like Ale, they only have 1 bottled Ale, and it wasn't nice. Best to treat yourself to a cocktail or glass of wine. I plan to go again soon though.

Reception down right rude on arrival Service in general very slow especially drinks Food mediocre, small protions, poor quality and luke warm Drinks very expensive

Good food, good drinks and reasonable prices. The ambience was lovely and staff were extremely friendly and polite. Views are also reasonably good. Will be visiting again soon.

A excellent venue to relax and enjoy the atmosphere .food and drinks are reasonably priced.recommend the fish dish,and the sweets to which there is a good selection .

We had a lovely evening. Food was excellent, service really good. The sad part if the evening was that we had to leave early due to an issue with electricity surveys taking place - not Bertram's fault!!

Food, atmosphere and service all excellent. The rib eye beef to share was cooked to perfection. Restaurant was busy yet service attentive. Faultless! Well done!

Absolutely perfect evening - came to celebrate my husbands birthday and had such a wonderful meal - all the food was delicious - couldn't fault a thing!

Very good service and food. Strange sharing the dining room with those dressed in Spa Robes. Due to this dress code would only go back with certain people who would feel comfortable with this fact.

Went to the Supper Club. Verdict is that the quality of the food is superb and the Wine was also very welcome. Only let down was the Dessert wasn't of the same caliber, I found it quite dry and the accompanying portion of Ice Cream was meagre. Saying that I still plan to return, just not for the dessert.

Pleasant helpful staff, lovely setting and good food! Have been a few times and always enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and consistently good quality food and service.

A lovely birthday celebration with friends, excellent food & service, finished off with cocktails & dancing in the terrace bar. Great night had by all!

As always we were served first class food and given excellent customer care and service by all the reception, bar staff and waiters all through our meal.

Excellent choice on the Thursday Supper Club Menu, when the food arrived it was excellent. Service was also good, where staff are not too intrusive but do take care of you.

Excellent service as ever, both in the terrace bar first and then in the main restaurant for our main meal. Looking clear to coming back tomorrow!

Once again another superb meal at Bertrams. It never fails to impress us with the service, surroundings and delicious food. We can't wait to return.

Great food, polite staff and fantastic surroundings. Downside i was having a late celebration of my birthday with my hubby who had been away. Only my second evening at Bertram's a friend booked the previous, the weather was horrendous really rainy and after our meal I was looking forward to cocktails in the bar near the outside spa. I joked with the waitress and said just got to get from the restaurant to over their pointing at the bar. At no point did she say it didn't open till nine, we paid and made our way through the rain to the bar to be told we couldn't have a drink as its only open for spa customers till nine and was referred back to the bar. I was embarrassed and we left a disappointing end to the celebration hence why I gave the visit a 3.

Lovely fresh salad very well served and unusual salad items the setting is spectacular with views over the countryside service was excellent with a large drinks menu

Starters are nice but the main courses aren't brilliant. Wine was lovely and although service is good I always feel the Managers are pushy. Every time I go I feel like I am being pushed to buy more wine and being talked into buying specials when I've made my choice. I think they need to back off and let people just enjoy their meals. Attention to detail is nice but constantly being interrupted is not. It's a fine balance.

Delish food, great service and a superb atmosphere will definately be visiting again soon. Loved the new cocktail bar too, great live music and entertainment for my birthday celebration

This was my first visit and I was very impressed. It was very pleasant in the terrace bar afterwards. We will no doubt return soon.

Excellent quality food. Very good value for money. Served quickly and by friendly and professional staff. Great decor and parking facilities. I would definately recommend Bertram's.

Excellent value for money on food any night of the week, but unbelievable value on a Tuesday with the £10 burger offer. The food was as delicious as ever and the service was without fault.

There were three of us dining at the restaurant, we all enjoyed our food it was lovely and the service was really good friendly and helpful

Excellent food,and top class location,been four times to the Thursday supper club,the choice of food was brilliant,and the service was first class ,have booked to go again .

The food was excellent as usual and service was very good. Whilst it took a while between courses we like that. It was a Monday and the restaurant was busy. Views are great of Pendleton Hill.
