Bertram's Restaurant

Excellent service and the staff are so friendly. The food is always spot on and amazing. Best cocktails ive had anywhere. I love this place and highly recommend it.

There were three of us dining at the restaurant, we all enjoyed our food it was lovely and the service was really good friendly and helpful

the food at bertrams is to die for i have had a few good meals over the years but there menu is not just tantalizing but affordable the presentation is top notch would recommend to all my friends

This was my first visit and I was very impressed. It was very pleasant in the terrace bar afterwards. We will no doubt return soon.

We had a lovely meal the food was lovely was worth the money but was just missing atmosphere would go back with my friends but not as a romantic meal

Very welcoming atmosphere, food was absolutely delicious. Party of 4. 2 of the party had the 2 for £10 burger deal. The other 2 chose from the menu. Great choice and good value, will definitely visit again.

Very disappointed. They did not allow my 8 year old child as it was my Father-in-laws birthday to celebrate. We thought because it's a Restaurant they allow anyone young or old. Not very good customer service. On Tuesday night very very crowded not really nice place to have a quiet celebration.

Soup starter was nothing special. Just because I'm coeliac doesn't mean I want boring g/f sliced bread when others are served lovely looking thick crusty rolls. That was disappointing. Mains were ok but again for the price were nothing special. Dauphinois potatoes were literally swimming in cheese. It was a bit much. Didn't have a pudding as not much choice for g/f. Need to put more thought into the pudding menu. Surroundings and staff lovely and attentive as always.

From the long driveway to the lift that takes you upto the restaurant, it all oozes class. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are very attentive. I had a fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit.

Tried many different dishes now - starters are much nicer than some of the main courses. Would be good if they changed the menu more often. Overall - good food

Felt rushed to order our food whilst still awaiting a member of our party. Inattentive staff - had to walk over the cluster of staff behind a computer to ask twice for tea inclusive with afternoon tea!..then had to ask again for sugar and milk! Waited ages to finally again go and ask for the bill..to wait ages for our change. The food was nice, wasn't overly busy. Just a shame about the service really.

Was very nice, I had the burger meal deal with my sister and was surprised at the amount we got for the price, so much we couldn't finish it all

The food was excellent but what was planned as a quiet anniversary (42) dinner was rather marred. We were seated next to a hen party, probably 20 strong, and parties of 8/10 on the opposite side. Hence the quiet dinner was totally scuppered. Why would any restaurant manager place any couple in this situation? It is not as though we booked late.

Great atmosphere good quality food and drinks highly recommended. The setting is good and the views over the hills amazing, the restaurant is nicely furnished has friendly knowledgeable staff. NO CHILDREN POLICY

Excellent meal, excellent service,friendly helpful and efficient staff. Bertram's is a lovely restaurant with superb views over the countryside towards Pendle Hill. Thursday supper club is excellent value.

Good service, lovely food. Have been to Bertram's on a few occasions and I have never been disappointed. Good value, especially if you go on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Excellent food and excellent service. Had asparagus starter and poached salmon sandwich, delicious. Very tasty and plenty of salmon. Couldn't find room for a desert unfortunately.

Wonderful bar staff. Excellent food. Good value, nice settings. Only one thing let it down and that was maciek showed us to our table, gave us our menus then just walked away without asking if we would like a drink.
