Bibendum

As usual the food in Bibendum was lovely, we had a roast dinner which we really enjoyed. The downside though was a rowdy party of about 12 plus 4 children. The children were running around noisily, a couple of the party were constantly going in and out of a side door, letting it slam over and over. It was obvious that other customers were not happy with the situation. The staff were doing their best but I feel they could have stepped in earlier to diffuse the situation.

Wonderful food & perfect service as always. The staff are all so lovely & are a credit to Bibendams.

Haven’t left a review for Bibendums before, as I have eaten here three times before, but all I can say is that it was brilliant as usual. Haven’t ever tried a special before though and went for the curry!

The roasts here are amazing 😍 and the puddings are stunning. All homemade. I had the beef roast and chocolate cheesecake which was heavenly. My only complaint is that I'm absolutely stuffed 😊

Very friendly service from Tanya. Had linguine, sauce delicious, plenty chicken topping. Only small quibble, my husband‘s chips could‘ve been crispier.

Have eaten at the Bibendum many times and the food is consistently excellent. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. However, the ambiance felt cold and and the service was slow. This may have been because it was a Monday afternoon and we were the only ones eating in the restaurant but it did spoil my visit this time.

We had such a lovely time visiting and eating at Bibendum. The service was exceptional and warm-hearted. The food was beautiful to look at and delicious to taste. Portions are generous and prices are excellent value considering the experience. Three of us had roast dinners, which were so so tasty, and the remaining meal was a chicken burger, which I am told was really tasty too. We had a dog with us, so we were seated in the bar area, but treated just as if we were in the restaurant and our doggie was given great service too, with water and dog biscuits. It's just the best place. This is my third time eating here and it has been consistently great each time. Honestly, I am running out of enthusiastically descriptive words for good! If you get a chance then please visit and eat here.
