Very friendly service from Tanya. Had linguine, sauce delicious, plenty chicken topping. Only small quibble, my husband‘s chips could‘ve been crispier.

Food is always very good and value for money. It’s always very noisy unfortunately hence we don’t visit often. They need something to absorb noise - like drapes for example

Have eaten at the Bibendum many times and the food is consistently excellent. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. However, the ambiance felt cold and and the service was slow. This may have been because it was a Monday afternoon and we were the only ones eating in the restaurant but it did spoil my visit this time.

We had such a lovely time visiting and eating at Bibendum. The service was exceptional and warm-hearted. The food was beautiful to look at and delicious to taste. Portions are generous and prices are excellent value considering the experience. Three of us had roast dinners, which were so so tasty, and the remaining meal was a chicken burger, which I am told was really tasty too. We had a dog with us, so we were seated in the bar area, but treated just as if we were in the restaurant and our doggie was given great service too, with water and dog biscuits. It's just the best place. This is my third time eating here and it has been consistently great each time. Honestly, I am running out of enthusiastically descriptive words for good! If you get a chance then please visit and eat here.

Three out of eight mains were incorrect and had to be sent back, a fourth was not as described on the menu and also had a piece of wire in it. We were offered free pudding as a result, which was kind, but the Bakewell tart that I then waited 30 mins for was out of a packet and tasted like a cheap version of a Mr Kipling product. Having sat down at 18:30, we left just before 21:00 after a slow and disappointing experience. I won’t eat there again :(

When we were there it wasn't so busy, so no noise issues! but the staff were great and very attentive, and the food was very good indeed. I'll certainly go to the Bibendum again next time I'm in town.......

It's great but sometimes little to much noise. Most of the time the staff is really good but after 9pm they think to forget about the dinner guests.

The service was great, meal amazing, staff happy professional and very attentive. It will take us all day to wear off a superb Sunday Roast

Good food and excellent service but the noise level - there was a large party in - was excruciatingly loud. So much so that we decided to move and sit outside. Fortunately the weather was fine otherwise I’m not sure how we could have endured it.

The service was really good & the food was delicious. Piping hot mains and lovely dessert. Thank you so much. Would definitely recommend.

Love the atmosphere. Service was excellent. Food was amazing! Only negative was it was boiling hot inside and it wasn’t boiling outside. Could have done with some air con or open windows.
