Delicious food. Well presented and just a bit different. Quite expensive but well worth it for a special occasion. We will be returning.

This was our first time here and we both had the nut roast. My parsnip was so hard I had to leave it, the Yorkshire over cooked and the roast potatoes not fully cooked. The nut roast was ok , my husband enjoyed his more than I did. The staff were charming, so helpful and friendly. The desserts were really good, we had bonoffee pie and choice brownie, would come back but not for the roast.

Superb lunch for my wife and I with our young niece on a visit . The reviews we read held out the promise of a good meal and we were not disappointed. We have not met our niece for 2 years and needed time to catch up The staff were brilliant and allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The food was excellent and we were very impressed indeed.

Second time here. Amazing food - especially the specials....would highly recommend. The decor is a little sad and could do with a lick of paint but other than that, a wonderful place.

Friendly staff and very helpful in a fairly busy restuarant with both inside and outside tables to serve. Waiting time between courses can therefore become a little stretched. Food good though and reasonably priced

Sunday roasts here are delicious. Would definitely recommend. Wish they'd change up the dessert menu though as I'm not sure the choices have changed since the pub reopened.

Waitress and chef went to particular trouble to construct a meal for my guest who has many different allergies - thank you.

The food was fantastic! One of the best meals we've had in a long time.

We attended as a family. I had the bird in hand burger ; the burger was succulent , however it could do with a signature sauce such as a chutney. Other members of the family had fish and chips which was excellent and the Cumberland sausage which was superb with very tasty pieces of black pudding and a nice delicious mash.

We had a very pleasant visit sitting in the garden which was not too crowded so not noisy! A slight complaint: chips were rather soft and the coffee though tasty was not warm enough. We enjoyed our visit .....

Lovely, tasty food. The prices were very reasonable. Dessert (banana split) was unreal! Missus had pork roast, I had the burger and I was definitely a bit jealous - still everything was great, including the staff and service, friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend

Really sorry but you have lost the plot. Used to be the best pub in the area but not anymore. Give it a miss

Air conditioning was a bit too high appreciate it was a hot day but the restaurant was quite chilly.
