Very good food. The choice was wide enough and the food itself full of flavour. Service was excellent too. A good choice for a midweek meal.

Really delicious food, attentive and friendly service. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely return. Had the Sunday beef roast which was a plate full of flavour and a vision of delightfulness.

Great pub with vibrant atmosphere. Recommend the Cod and Chicken main dishes, food excellent and similar quality to The Red Lion in Horsell. Definitely worth eating there if you fancy a good gastropub close to Woking.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was tempting and the food we saw being served around us looked enticing. We had a very enjoyable lunch.

Great food, good ambience and friendly staff! This is the second time I've visited this pub and I have to say I can't fault either the quality of the food nor the service offered by the staff.

This pub tickes all the boxes in terms of friendly staff, pleasant ambience and great food at a reasonable price. We had the lunchtime set menu which was oarticularly good values. The beers are well kept as well

Great pub, brilliant choice of gins and very helpful and knowledgable girl serving at the bar. Food is very good too. Parking was a bit of an issue as the car park was full when I arrived. Not particularly local for me but worth the trip to meet up with friends. Will return.

Food was good and beautifully presented. Service pleasant and low key. Acoustics in the restaurant terrible . Could do with some soft furnishings or something to absorb the sound As a result we had to speak loudly to hear ourselves and the noise around us was distracting

The food was excellent but the restaurant was far too hot and the service was incredibly slow. We didn't get our desserts until gone 11pm.

We took some friends along who were very impressed with the changes to the Bird in Hand since their last visit. Our waitress was attentive and super helpful. Every meal was well presented and delicious. The ham hock starter is worth a special mention, and the banana splits didn't take long to disappear!

Pleasant evening had by all. Relaxed atmosphere and staff tried hard to ensure our meal went smoothly despite being very busy. Reasonable choice of food to cater for most tastes.

Tonight we had a dinner table for four. We have been here several times as usual there was very good service by friendly staff in a nice restaurant, a good menu and reasonably priced high quality food.

Well cooked food and friendly service. We will be back. After confirmation that small plates were in fact starters, I had fish goujons with tartare sauce followed by steak. Good pub food, and well kept beer - I was a happy customer.

Good service and excellently prepared food. Having been for a few visits felt the menu was rather limited if you didn't want burgers or sausages. But do not let you put you off as food is of a high level.

Very warm welcome for an early dinner. Selected specials from chalk board which were excellent in both presentation and taste. The staff are both pleasant and attentive. Bird in hand continues to please.

The girl who were serving for our table was excellent. We were all feeling welcomed and friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent as well but the only disappointment was the coffee wasn't hot. Definitely we will come back again.

They were super accommodating as I had booked the wrong day! However, we were sat without menus for a while, we had to ask for a wine list. Nobody came back to take our drinks order so we were left with water until the mains arrived. Our dessert was forgotten so it took ages. On the plus sides the food was lovely and really well presented and the staff were friendly but just not really on the ball.

The normal good service, enjoyable food at a good price with plenty of time to enjoy both the food and our friend's company. Highly recommended

Great service, great food. Don't go here often enough. We had a table buy a window which we had to open as it was a little stuffy in there (they probably needed to turn the AC on). Acoustics not the best but they cant do anything about that.

This is. Lovely gastronomic pub. The food is well made and well plated. A little noisy for me but that's the ambience that works. Not necessarily what I was expecting!
