Once again Bistro Saigon gave myself and wife a lovely welcome when we arrived and were shown to our table. Excellent service throughout the meal and conscientious staff attending our every need. Can't wait to go back again.

Fabulous food as always. Would highly recommend for something a little out of the ordinary cuisine. Pleasant and helpful staff and good lunchtime offers in pleasant surroundings.

Absolutely beautiful food, I have heard fantastic comments for years and I'm so delighted that I have now been, and certainly wasn't disappointed and will definitely go again. Although the restaurant was a bit chilly for my liking, the staff were very friendly and helpful

We were there for lunch and chose the 2 courses for £15, there was a brilliant menu selection. Really tasty, good, refreshing food in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We would be happy to try more of the dishes here.

Fantastic experience - the food was faultless, we all ate different dishes and all loved them - delicious yet healthy and fresh. Good wine list, decent pricing for the quality.

Sat downstairs away from most of the diners. Starters were very tasty but some of the mains were funny tasting, too much ginger used And made it taste of chemicals

Lovely Saturday lunch for family of five. Good value menu with plenty of choice so everyone was happy with their meal. Staff friendly and helpful.

Haven't been for a year or so. but still beautiful food and good service. Great value 3 course lunch at £20 per head. The cheapest Malbec is excellent.

Food was excellent staff were polite and helpful. Reasonable priced only criticism is they forgot to ask if we would like a sweet. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food , the yellow curry is mild for those who like that, the red is a bit fiery and very tasty. The chiili beef and the belly pork went down well. The house white was also well received. Attentive, but not overly so staff. We'll definitely be coming back.

We came with friends who have been to Vietnam and they said it's the best Vietnamese restaurant they found in Britain so far well worth a visit

Wonderful service, great meal. Brilliant that gluten-free and milk-free options were available. In fact, the menu was mainly gf and mf, and allergens were clearly marked. A great place to eat especially for my coeliac, milk intolerant wife. Definitely be visiting again!

Food was lovely but we ordered a bottle of white wine and it wasn't chilled in the slightest. The waiter opened it without checking and didn't replace it with a cold bottle when we commented. He brought us some ice instead. Not great in my opinion. The food was great though!

Lots of choice on the menu for dairy or gluten free and vegetarian meals. We ate starter and mains which were tasty and well presented. We can see why it is one of the more popular places to eat in Ilkley and booking is essential. There did seem to be a large number of staff (five) talking behind the bar whilst two others were busy waiting on tables.

Simply one of the best eating establishments in the lower dales....great Vietnamese food, easy access in a delightful town location, charming, helpful staff and a very pleasurable experience....top drawer.

The food was lovely as ever. Just no one seemed to be particularly the person overseeing. No problems with the service. Got what we needed when we needed it. Just no connection with anyone waiter/was or manager. Oh and too bright!!!! The lights seriously needed dimming down. Created a cold not cozy intimate atmosphere that you want on an evening out.

Bistro Saigon is my all time, favourite restaurant. From the outstanding food, to the service and atmosphere, I cannot go without a month of visiting. This place is a must-go!!

The whole experience was unhurried which made for a relaxing and easy evening. The restaurant was fairly busy and had a good atmosphere but there was plenty of room between tables. The food was fantastic, really flavoursome, and the portion sizes were very generous. to the point where, having admired the dessert menu earlier there was no chance of managing anything else after a starter and main course. The service was polite, friendly and with just the right level of attentiveness. We have tried for some weeks to get a table here. Now we can see why it is always so popular! And the prices are very reasonable too.

It is a fantastic place with wonderful meals - all freshly made and beautifully presented. We went to celebrate my son`s 50th Birthday with his wife and family, sister, partner and part of her family plus my hubby and me (Mum and Grandma). The staff always make us welcome, and are especially kind to me as I am disabled and they help me enter the restaurant in my wheelchair. There is plenty of choice - even for those who are vegetarian - from their extensive menu and all is delicious too. A must for those who are wanting something a `little bit different and exciting` for lunch or evening meal, when visiting ILKLEY. Good luck to this restaurant for a very bright future.

Incredible food makes it worth the trip! Service needs improvement - we had 4 different waitresses over the course of the evening making it inconsistent and pretty slow.

Excellent food in good surroundings. The menu has enough choice to satisfy most customers, service is friendly. Food is delivered with a sensible waiting time which suggests it is cooked freshly and not microwaved. One of our favourite places to eat out.

Very nice food, there was a good choice. It was busy but there were plenty of staff so the service was excellent. We would definitely go again.

Good quality food and level of service. Tables felt a little cramped and it was difficult to tell who was managing the restaurant on the night Low ceilings at lower ground level made noisy customers and larger parties amplified- difficult to know how to resolve this Could smell toilet disinfectant on entering restaurant Quality of food made up for these minor disappointments- we will return but ask for a ground floor table next time around

Great food service great to begin with then we got forgotten towards the end shame really missed out on coffee and desert needs more mature staff

Friendly service, excellent food, the starter mix for 2 was superb mains great especially if you like it hot! - did not try the sweets - full up. Easy parking nearby

The service was patchy and slow. Food was ok but not as good as on previous visits. We arrived at 8.20pm and left at 11.45pm (mix up with our bill). During that time no-one asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. In the end we grabbed a member of staff and asked for a coffee but decided not to bother with dessert, they were mopping the floors by that point. Really disappointing as previous visits have been a great experience.

Excellent food and service. Very good recommended wine and reasonable beer selection. Full when we went but good atmosphere. Music (Emily Sande) at reasonable background level.

We'd heard a lot of good things about this restaurant ... It didn't disappoint, whole experience from staff to food was excellent ... We'll certainly be back!!
